First two episodes of Knight Of The Seven Kingdom , part of the Game Of Thrones World

other then a couple full frontal nudity scenes I could have done with out , the first two episodes have been really good

short episodes at only 30 minutes a piece , simpler story , lighter tone

but unlike Game Of Thrones and House of Dragons

most of the characters in Knight Of The Seven Kingdom are actually likable , with both Duncan and Egg , being genially good guy

Wonder Man premiers tonight on Disney Plus

the newest MCU TV show

I've been waiting for this for years

literally

they announced this TV show , like before covid , and just kept getting pushed back and pushed back

but finally tonight , they're dropping all 8 episodes , 30 minutes each , and it's been getting great reviews , many calling it the best MCU TV show yet , which , admittedly , isn't really all that high of a bar

the show is more a comedy then a super hero movie , so If you are hoping for big CGI space battle , this probably won't be it

I know there have been a few MCU miss steps in the last couple years , but I'm still along for the right

Because I had nothing else to watch, I started this last night and boy was I surprised. Like you, I had literally no idea what it was about....
Got thru 2-3 episodes and cant wait to get back at it
Because insomnia is a bitch, I finished Pluribus this morning. What a wild show!!

Wonder Man

10/10

the perfect "little" show that I needed

I'm not going to rate this show the same I would rate Avengers End Game , two different thing

Marvel MCU shows on Disney Plus , have been , well................

but this one was fun , but I should also explain , yes , it's a Marvel Super Hero TV show set in the MCU

but..........

don't expect anything grand

there are no Super Villains , there are no Deardevil hallway fights , there are no Guardians of the Galaxy space adventures , actually , there really isn't much of anything , no action at all , except for maybe a 20 second ally fight , kinda sorta

there are even very little antagonists , and just minor ones at that

so yes , if some one tunes in thinking this is a over the Marvel MCU Super Hero shows , and that the only reason you tuned in , you'll probably be pretty disappointed

but what you will get , is a very fun , and very well written buddy film

and why I called it a perfect "little" show , it never gets silly , or stupid , or to assume the audience needs everything explained to them because they're not smart enough to figure things out on their own

Ben Kingsley is brilliant in this and easy to see why he's an Oscar winner

the show actually stick the landing , a perfect little end to a perfect little show

so

if you are looking for a over the top action pack Super hero show , this probably isn't for you , and will probably find in a little boring

but if you are looking for a simple , fun buddy film set in the MCU , with a fun story and great acting , , might be worth checking out

now sure what will happen to Wonder man after this or when we'll see him again , but you should know , you will barley see any of Wonder mans power in this show , or it explained , we just assume he's a Mutant , but he is one of Marvels strongest characters , being able to go toe to toe with both Thor and the Hulk

even though you won't see it in the TV show , he's like a walking nuclear bomb

I loved the show , It was the MCU show I needed

Some my find this show a little boring , I thought it was brilliant

Wonder Man was good. Not your traditional Marvel show— in a good way. Basically it's following a guy's struggles trying to get his life on track while dealing with the fact he's got powers. Little bits sprinkled about connecting it to the Marvel universe. I like the style of the show, too. A bit retro while not actually being set in the past. Wasn't boring to me. Also helps the episodes clock in at about half an hour, give or take a few minutes.

I thought they did a great job , they obviously had no budget , and they took a character that almost no one had ever heard of , and the few people who had had heard of him , probably didn't care

and they made a fun , well written , well acted show

I wish Marvel / Disney Plus TV would make more of these kinds of shows

introduce minor characters in a simple way

I know what goes on in the first three seasons of this spinoff series, since I own the book "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms", which shows illustrations. I also know what happens to them period, having checked their story on the Wiki.

Trust me, Duncan and Egg are awesome characters, and Duncan, despite his overall clumsiness and admitted "thickness", is a good man and a true knight. And Egg? All I'll say is keep watching.

The book (it's got three of the twelve stories that are scheduled for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) is great. Really shows so many things that the show, while it's done good, hasn't really shown. I loved every story, honestly, but the third one was my favorite (even more than the first, which is awesome). Second one starts a bit slow, but it gets much better and plays the part of Duncan experiencing the world and political intrigue of The Game of Thrones very well (he plays it, but does it his own way, and it works for him).

Huge fan of Ser Duncan the Tall and Egg.
