Oh LORD...

Star Trek Strange NW... the episode was dumb to me. Episode #3 I think... they had some kind of virtual simulation and all the characters were dressed like they were in the 70's. It was like a murder mystery thing that was basically a comedy.

But, 2 things were absolutely fantastic...

Kirk (the young new one) played an actor who was playing the Capt. Kirk from the original Star Trek. He did a perfect imitation of Kirk's dramatic over acting style that had me rolling with laughter. Shatner probably hated it, but he probably laughed his ass off too.

And the blond nurse... Holy Fucking Shit Man!!! They had her in one of those ridiculous sexy as hell space outfits from the original Star Trek with knee high boots... and her booty cheeks were purposely exposed in this stupid short skirt thing. Multiple gratuitous booty shots too. But they also made her hair long and hot. She looked like a super fine slut from the 70's. I was in total lust mode. This alone makes the stupid episode a MUST SEE!

It was the first attempt at the holodeck and like everything new in the Trekverse something went wrong.

Somehow I never watched a single episode of Foundation until yesterday. I'm about halfway through Season 1 and it is just AWESOMENESS. 10/10

Thank God there are 3 Seasons and the episodes are like an hour long. Discovering this show now is like the Clampetts accidentally striking oil in the backyard! WOW!!!

Untamed

Only 6 episodes... Mystery Crime Thriller

LOVED IT... the wife and I watched all 6 episodes in 1 day.
Due to your recommendation here, the wife and I binged it in two nights.

Really really good.

Thanks brutha!

Most likely recommended prior. The Bear, up to season 3 episode 10. I started it on Monday morning. Pretty solid overall so far. Just passing the time as I'm getting paid to do nothing all day through September 18. Back to back different company severance, 10 years and then 7 years. What are the odds?

Been watching "Smoke" on Apple TV, the show started slow, seemed a bit predictable. But it really picked up and is pretty captivating

Do you have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy it?

I watched a few episodes when it first came out. The word that comes to mind when I remember watching it is ‘Cockamamy’
Well after watching a few seasons you realize that what happened in the first few episodes actually makes sense somewhat.

I had a hard time believing they survived the plane crash. But I shrugged my shoulders and went okay - where is this going.

The show does get confusing quite frequently but a lot of stuff does eventually get explained.

This series is not connected in any way to Star Wars. So the answer is no.

It's Sci Fic at a high level of thinking. They do a great job incorporating real science into it... this makes it extra cool to me.
My wife fell asleep during the first episode.

Does the action pick up after the first episode? Or is it like the first episode where you have to pay attention to every word said?

It gets better. Hang in for 3-4 episodes.
And you need to pay attention.

Like the OLD Wiseman @VegasRam pointed out above... you do need to pay attention.

Action definitely picks up... and I think that being a science junkie helps a person enjoy it much more.
