I would have liked to see us pursue him as our backup; his last 2 seasons as a starter, he had QB ratings of 86.8 and 87.5, which is very respectable. We probably did not have the cap space, however.

Yeah ,all he needs is someone to tell him to be conservative a lil more ..................................and him listen

I think that had more to do with Denver's injuries, and the extreme reaction of the Denver fan base. Who takes out billboards calling for your favorite QB?
