Not even 5 ft. Hell, keep the game in town! ~ RamDinoFYI... the bills play in Orchard Park... a suburb of Buffalo. The snow has reached 56 inches per the weather channel.
Words nobody ever thought they'd hear in their life.
"For safety we're moving this event to Detroit"
I googled a meme for "pussies"... didn't go as planned. I guess I forgot I was on the internet for a second."Pussies..." ~ @OldSchool
I hope he's freezing his ass off....Like @Merlin last winter....wonder how von feeling about that decision right now...
Correct. The truth is folks from the 70s were very different folks from the ones out there now though, too. We are becoming softer as a society with each passing year it seems to me.I hear ya on Californians... they get freaked out over the slightest drizzle, or a little cold snap of 50 degrees. It's ridiculous.
But people in Buffalo sure ain't "weak" about weather, that's for damn sure. I've lived for extended periods in my life in upstate NY, in Madison WI, and in San Luis Obispo, CA. So in NY and WI, I've experienced tons of snow and plenty of below-zero conditions.
All I can say is, yeah-- if this were the 70's, the game would go on. But we did tons of stupid shit in the 70's that we don't do know. I'm sure that if this game was re-located, it's due to a legitimate risk for safety to thousands of people. When snowfall is as extreme as they're predicting, it's foolish to be out on the roads unless it's an emergency.
Ha ha. Yep.wonder how von feeling about that decision right now...
FIFY.
