Really excited/nervous/amazed about tomorrow's game. Excited because it's the only meaningful December game for us in over 10 years, at least as far as post season implications go. Nervous because we're facing an MVP quarterback in a very difficult stadium with the season on the line, with a rookie coach and a very young quarterback who's yet to achieve a win in that kind of scenario. Amazed because I did not think this team would be this much improved and in this position after last year; honestly i was thinking 8-8 would be a great goal.

Should be a great game!

Btw, anyone know if we own the tiebreaker with the Lions if we both finish 10-6? They've flown under the radar a bit, but only play the Bengals and Packers, and if the Packers lose to the Panthers tomorrow, who knows if they'll have anything left to play for the final week. The other playoff contenders all have relatively easy games this weekend (NO vs Jets, Atl vs Bucs, Dal vs Oak). Not sure who to root for in these - hope for a Cowboys' loss which would eliminate them as a threat since they'd have 7 losses, or hope they win and have extra motivation against the Hags? Hope that the Panthers put the Packers out of the picture, or hope for a Panthers' loss so they're at five losses?

If we lose tomorrow it's going to be wild scramble at the end. Just our luck that we finally have a good year, and 7-8 NFC teams have good records, plus we play 4 of them in a five week span.

After head to head, the next tiebreaker is conference records.

Currently
Lions 7-4 against NFC
Rams 6-4 against NFC

If Lions win their last two and the Rams are only winning one more game, than Detroit has the tiebreaker.

If the Rams end up 10-6 , they will not make the playoffs, JMO

Technically this statement is inaccurate because the last meaningful game we played was in Dec. 2010 for the división vs the Seagulls for the división where the winner went into the playoffs coiencidently at 7-9! Lol
At this time we weren’t good enough to get to 7-9 until Jeff Fisher came along!:rolllaugh:
P.s. to freshen your memory it was the post season for I.e. the Beast Mode Run.
Rennet now? :D

Anyways, I remember this so well because I got blistering drunk and yelling obscenities at the 90 ft. screen they had and got kicked out of Buffalo Wild Wings after the game.. Hey at least I banged a chic that night. ;):help:

That 2010 game appeared to be big at the time, but in retrospect, I dont count....but, I get it. That team had no chance at anything...except gettin Robert Quinn.

Ya, I woke up Saturday and realized that if we don't beat the Hawks, we have to win the final,a nd SF isn't so easy these days and the Titans are pretty good at home...and they are fighting for the playoffs....so, this is our year....though we could still get in if we lose--11-5 should get us in; though 10-6 would not.

If we can't win this game, we don't deserve the playoffs. Who cares that it's in Seattle....big boy pant man ignores that fact.

Goff and Woods/Kupp do enough, and Sammy comes through, Gurley puts on his back, and the D holds just enough....special teams help!

I have a good feeling about this game, just feel like the Rams put it all together today and no this is not just wishful thinking.

We've taken four of the last seven games from the Seahawks and it every case they had better talent and far better coaching that we've had. My point is that this team has been competitive with Seattle even when outmatched. Today we are far healthier and have more talent than they do. Coaching is a wash except for our special teams where we excel and Seattle struggles. If we can 1) control the clock, 2) contain Wilson and 3) avoid the turnovers, the Rams could run away with this one.

Can our guys win when we absolutely need it? Can Jared make champion level plays for us when the game is on the line? Can the defense get pressure on Russell and can the secondary hold up?

GOD I HOPE SO!!! let's go boys...

11-5 gets the Rams into playoffs so idk if I'd say it's a bigger game than the playin game on snf the Rams and hawks had whenever that was, but a big game none the less
