I don't know... they got killed by Buffalo when they were all healthy.
And the OL had struggles last year as well.
Neither group is the Jimmy Johnson era Dallas Cowboys line, we all know that.
They should be good enough however.
Its the injuries.

I don't disagree with the assessment of the coaching but I would say also---at great pains---the Niner roster is better and was last year too.

They've lost players this year also and are still beating the shit out of people on defense for instance...

Chicago.....Seattle....Denver....Rams....Carolina......hardly a murderers row of offensives so far.
They played Seattle week two.....before their O started clicking.
Who has dominated the Rams O this year.....Buffalo, SF, Dallas.....
Its an apples and oranges comparison of course.
But, opponents matter.
Their D was very good last year and should be very good this year. Is it some D that can't be defeated? I don't think so.
Are they better than last years D? I also don't think so, but, will need a larger sample size against better offenses to tell.

What bothers me most about our OL is they all seem finesse. Not those mean motherfuckers that want to drive you 10 yards back, knock them on there asses and then drag there ballsack across the defenders face.

And yeah I'm sure I didn't use the right "there".

But in all honesty, they seem so soft and timid and they really bothers me.
It’s all in the approach and play calling. First series against Dallas 3rd and 1. Instead of running the ball and getting the line firing out and going forward we have them backing up in pass protection while Stafford drops back 10 yards, gets hit, fumble’s for a Dallas TD. That play set the tone for the game. McVay doesn’t trust his line to get 1 yard.
