My wife is a whiners fan so I ate crow a few weeks ago. I told her that they are now 8-0 so that's not luck. It's a good team. But are they really 8-0 good or have they just been benefitting from an easy schedule which includes a game when the Rams might have been at their worst? The cardinals gave them a good game and if not for that time out just before half-time that blew up, the cards might have won. But it is what it is. The whiners are 8-0 and they might extend that win streak more. I still think Grabmypole wins inspire of himself and not because of him.

But then again, the Rams won a lot of close games last season and things sort of went in our favor. Hopefully the whiners don't get that this year. I still am hopeful that McVay and company can turn things around that get on a roll so we can get pay back against the whiners.

I think they’re better than they were and lucky.

They have some tough games coming up so we will find out soon.

GB
NO

They appear one dimensional with the run game. Will the addition of Sanders put their pass game on par with the rest of the league?

The top four teams last year were led by their Pro Bowl QB’s. Goff, Brees, Brady and Mahomes.

Can Jimmy step up his game like Goff and lead them to a Super Bowl?

I doubt it personally.

If an Oline can get their QB time, I think teams can pass on them. Their secondary isn't great. Scramblers like Russell Wislon and Kyler Murray are good against heavy pass rushing D lines. So Seattle twice and Baltimore could be tough games for them. Green Bay has a decent OLine and Rogers knows when to run enough for teams to respect the threat ( I wish Goff was a more intuitive runner like that). Green Bay can beat them.

Arizona showed that the Niners can be run on.

So I think they have just had some fortunate matchup on their schedule.

The Rams still have a ways to go with OLine improvements to defeat them IMO.

I think they’re a 5-3 team (good) that’s caught a scheduling break, is one-dimensional and will be exposed a time or two when the luck runs out.
Riding a bit of a hype train right now.
But, they get to be cocky until some team beats their ass and one will.

Rogers knows when to run enough for teams to respect the threat ( I wish Goff was a more intuitive runner like that).

Goff is an effective runner, that looks to pass first, is among the least sacked and that’s exactly what I want.

And Rogers had a knee last year running around.

Its posts like this - well, I want Johnny Unitas- c’mon dude, any poster can pull any HOFer out of their butt and wish our QB could be a HOFer right now.

To each his own.

Mahomes is hurt and can’t play, clock is ticking on the midgets; Goff is my dude.

They are good with many good players but somehow I think Seattle (at least once), GB and NO will take care of Them. Then it will be up to the Rams to man up on the rematch.

Like someone mentioned, we were lucky in a few last year also, but mainly they are a very good team.

And JG unfortunately is only going to get better. Not sure he’s even played a full season of games yet.

Plus, objectively, you have to like their attitude, which which is half of winning, imo.

Shanahsn’s for real, and Lynch is looking like he knows what he is doing.

They’re going to be around for a long time. It’s a real rivalry again.

@Selassie I - what do you think?

FUCK them.

They are all bitches.

They have a scary good D line. Very imposing.

They appear to be well coached.

Watching Kittle pisses me off. We reached for Everett and could have waited and taken Kittle later in the draft.

I cant stand that fucking team or anything San Francisco.

They're good. But how good is the question. Cowboys are good almost every year. But it turns out they are good enough to lose to someone better. Niners secondary has yet to be truly tested because of their pass rush. Jimmy has yet to be tested because no one has shut down their run game. If they don't get to Rodgers they are going to be in a lot of trouble.

So again they are a good team. We just don't know how good yet.

And the front 7 tackles well. From what I've seen they wrap up rather than just hit.

Which also alignes with your point about being well coached.

@KayJay that's a fair question. Yes they have played some bad teams but they aren't just winning they are controlling the game or flat out blowing the other teams out by large margins.

IMO this team is very good. Good enough to win the division, and maybe a playoff game. But I'm not sure they can get past GB or NO to get to the SB. And the Rams still have something to say too.

They are a good team, and i hate to say it but i like their style of football. Lots of power runnnling with pitches and I-formations. I would love to see Gurley running like that.

They got better with E Sanders too. Hes still fast and is a good route runner. Ramsey can guard him, but he just whooped Patrick Petersons ass so he need to be on his game.

They can be stopped, we just have to be gap discipline and not fall for the misdirections.
