It’s funny because according to the media the Rams every year are either “All in” or irrelevant.

The fact is that they’ve been consistently good nearly every season for the last 7 years.

6 winning seasons out of 7. 3 division titles. Two NFC titles. Two Superbowl appearances. One Superbowl championship. Yeah, I'd say they're one of the most relevant teams in the NFL.

Here is an “all in” trade proposal.

Rams Trade Pitch Lands $140 Million All-Pro to Help Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams broke their trade habit that lasted nearly a full decade.

In taking Jared Verse with the No. 19 overall pick of the 2024 draft, the Rams made their first first-round pick since 2016, when they selected Jared Goff with the No. 1 overall pick.

It remains to be seen if the pick will pay off. However, going back to their old ways of trades sending away draft capital could help the Rams maximize their title window with 36-year-old quarterback Mattew Stafford.

They already have a stacked wide receiver room with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua among the top 1-2 punches in the league. But Kupp’s injury history suggests they can use reinforcements.

Las Vegas Raiders wideout Davante Adams could offer that and then some.

“The Rams admittedly don’t really need Adams,” Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport wrote on June 14. “Adding Adams to that mix would give Matthew Stafford the most dangerous trio of wide receivers in the league.

“It wouldn’t be cheap—but there’s no general manager in the NFL more willing to deal first-rounders than Les Snead.”

Rams get:

– Davante Adams

Raiders get:

– 2025 first-round pick

Adams is a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro selection, earning each distinction with the Raiders in 2022. However, the Raiders’ change from Derek Carr to Jimmy Garappolo and then rookie Aidan O’Connell led to a dropoff in Adams’ production.
Saw this theory on FB. It was based on one reporter from a very questionable site (BR) merely coming up with a hypothetical trade scenario that became a "rumor" that only was a "rumor" because they needed it to be in order to write a click bait article. As far as I know, this Davenport character has nothing but a fantastical idea and of course, he writes for the BR so....

Well Adam’s could pull a Randy Moss then that would be perfect & The Rams grabbed him under the radar.

Don’t see that happening or The Rams over paying for his services.

Truth - I could see a deal getting done, but there is going to be options for The Rams at the trade deadline .

Who knows what Adam’s & Bowers look like together? Will the Raiders have a Fire Sale, look to TANK ? Who’s getting paid there besides Crosby

We're already concerned Kupp's age makes him susceptible to injuries. Adams is half a year older. I wouldn't give up a first for him at this point. There's only one ball to go around. Robinson is a fine WR3. We're good as is.

Just another point about the frequent Useless, Weak-Ass NFL reporting that's out there.

No mention of the Salary Cap implications ... Dead-$ to the trading-team; or its cap relief (often minimal); or the ability of the acquiring-team to take on the player's cap hit.

The Salary Cap is a real thing; and, often, it can be manipulated ... BUT ... Not Always.
