There are some ugly off-field issues (legal charges and accusations) from his past that warrant consideration.
IDK, the guy sure can rush the passer.

Clark's suspension stems from him pleading no contest in September to two counts of misdemeanor possession of an assault weapon in separate incidents in 2021. Clark was sentenced to one year of probation and 40 hours of community service.

It’s not always about this year. A Burns or a Claypool is not a one year rental type of transaction (like Miller was). That’s about solidifying the edge for years. Either one of those paired with young would give Oline fits, add in Donald and they’d have nightmares
Oh, I'm fine with signing a legit edge rusher to a multi year deal. That makes sense. Its for the future. I just don't want to give up a day 2 pick for a half year rental. The Miller situation was different. We had a contending roster and his addition put us over the top. It was worth it. Burns would be worth it if they signed him to an extension.

Assault weapon? Where did he get one of those? You can’t buy one in a store.

Is he still a good pass rusher? I feel like he's been looking pretty washed of late. I also heard he has Crohn's disease, which makes it hard for him to stay on the field.

As of last week he lead all interior DL in QB pressures. You don’t move on from him unless you are tanking the season. You must have missed the Colts game. He was playing great.

They tried to resign Gaines. He said something about California taxes being the reason he left.
Oh wow I had no clue

Where? I should clarify, where legally?

No he doesn’t. A reporter said it sounds like Crohn’s Disease, but they’re assumption wasn’t based on fact.

"Assault weapon" is whatever the state law defines it as. And I know you can buy numerous firearms in my state that are defined as "assault weapons" in other states.

Regardless, he is struggling to stay on the field due to some stomach ailment.

And he's a notorious woman-beater.

As a woman, I can't justify signing a piece of absolute elephantshit like Frank Clark.

Oh, I forgot some people mistakenly call some guns "assault weapons". If it's not fully automatic, it's not the real deal. So, his weapon must have been an actual assault weapon because you can legally own the "wanna be guns" that look scary. And yeah, Clark would probably not work out.

A state could define a fork as an "assault weapon" if it so chose. The meaning of the term is determined by the definitions in the law, so there's no real point in arguing semantics over what the term means. It's arbitrary.

Frank Clark violated state law. It wasn't the first time he got in trouble. That's all that matters.

There are no trades that will make us a Superbowl contender this year. It should be all about developing the young guys in order to build a championship roster over the next couple years. If we make the playoffs with that, then its a bonus. The only downside would be no high first round pick. But I'd take that if we make the playoffs.
High round picks mean nothing.

I agree about Clark but defining crap like that doesn’t mean anything to me. I’ll just go by the Constitution. But meanwhile back at the FA debate, the Rams aren’t going to sign a FA this year that is a well known name.
