You traded up? For [INSERT BRANDON SCHERFF/ERECK FLOWERS HERE]? Are you nuts? Jesus, it's a weak top of the draft for O-line, why you drafting for need and leaving the BPA on the board? Why the hell would you trade up for a [GUARD/RIGHT TACKLE]?

Wow, I can't believe the top 9 teams all forfeited their picks and Snisher magically invented a machine that merged Scherff, Beasley, White, Cooper and Winston into a one-man NFL team who can do everything at the same time perfectly. I'll give this draft pick a B+. I bet they blow it in the 2nd, though.

Absolutely! To the "T" brotha! Somebody is always gonna have a complaint about every pick we get.
 
You have to remember, some people are only happy when they are miserable or if they can make others miserable....my mother-in-law lives up to that distinction everyday and it appears many Ram posters do as well.

Wait. Didn't you miss:

The Rams trade back and get Cam Erving at 19. "Okay I can live with that, Erving and an extra second rounder sounds good." or,

"Parker? Sure I am good with Parker"

(Actually I wanted Scherf or Flowers so the trade down probably doesn't help)
 
Well done and comical...

But, to be honest, I haven't seen a lot of griping about Gurley here.

Or, at least, it's been very civil and logical.

Seems like the main "complaint" is that they didn't use that pick for a lineman... but most (myself included) are willing to see how that gets addressed before the start of the season.

The thing is I had steeled myself for any of the other options. I was not ready for this one and it just doesn't make sense to me. Gurley had better be a transcendent, Eric Dickerson level, player.
