Haha. The PSU stadium size rivals Michigan’s. That would be crazy for D2. But I know you are kidding.

Overall the PSU cheerleaders weren’t as hot back in 1985/86 when I attended. But PSU beat Miami for the National Championship. They had a great team and I had classes with a few players and also would see them in the quad at West Halls. That was back when the players still stayed in dorms.

Did you know that in 1969 the Nittany Lions lost a National Championship because the decision was left up to President Nixon to choose between Texas and Penn State? Nixon was a Texan.

You might find this interesting. Penn State was undefeated. So was Ohio State. At the time it looked like Ohio State was going to win out and they were already ranked number 1 overall. Nobody thought they would lose a game.

Bowl games used to secure their teams in November, before all of the regular season games were finished. Paterno left it up to his team to choose the bowl game. They could choose from the cotton bowl vs Texas or the Orange Bowl. Miami was the favored destination over Dallas. None of them felt they had a shot at the National title because at the time, Ohio State was a Juggernaut. Michigan upset Ohio State to end the season.

It's hard to gauge so far out of course but I could see LT, CB and WR being higher picks in no order.

The point isn't being realistic at this point as everything under the sun can happen between now and next draft, the point is to familiarize yourself with the prospects and know who's who and what's what so before the season kicks off.

Mizzou's getting a recent five-star quarterback commit in Matt Zollers. It's going to be interesting to see if he or Sam Horn (a former four-star in 2022, coming off of Tommy John) wins the job after Brady Cook.

I get it. I just can`t emotionally deal with it. That said, it does beg a lot of important questions, which we'll be discussing during the season no doubt.

Haha that reminded me of this vid :laugh2:

Yeah I’m a huge college football fan since mistaking the Wolverines helmet for the Rams helmet when I was young.

The prospecting and recruiting process has always intrigued me.

I made 400 mocks last year to pass the time but my last one before the draft had us drafting 4 of our players and as our second player! :sunglasses:

Could be luck or it could be I follow Mel Kiper Jr.!
