Insiders and connected people hint at breaking news thats coming all the time, that's nothing new.

I'm not gonna argue that he did it bc he wanted to prove he had credible sources and boost his name in the industry. You can agree with that approach or not, but if he had come out and said that he knew Aaron was gonna retire all along bc his sources told him, after the fact, no one would believe him.

That's why he should have sat on it. Or, at the very least, understood the blow-back he was going to receive.

As for people's reactions, again, if he had told people that it's not good news, everyone would have known what it was and he would have burned a source.

Again, should have just sat on it ... as others did.

It's like a kid who sees a huge present under the xmas tree and gets all excited bc they think it's one thing, then they open it and it's not what they expected, so they get mad at the parents.

If it's a pile of dog shit, the kid should get mad at his parents.

Can you name one single talking head that does that? I’m not taking sides here and I think Jake is a bit of a dweeb (no more than many in his field), but it seems that a lot of people are hell bent on wanting him to burn.

I certainly don't wish the kid any ill will. He's doing something he's probably always wanted to do. I always wanted to be a concert pianist and I could buy a piano but that doesn't make me a concert pianist.

Saying something is "big news" isn't positive or negative and is up to the interpretation of the one reading it, thats not on Jake.

"Franchise altering" was the phrase he used, and in the McVay era there's an obvious connotation with that term.

Donald's future with the Rams was already a subject of speculation because of what Jourdan told us. In my estimation Donald retirement was "too big" for Jake to handle, and his behaviour reflected that.

Well it was when he went off about EJ53 that sent me over the edge.

He was childish all the way around.His interview with K.Whiterspoon was pretty good.He took a liking to him for all the right reasons.

That said I’m still questioning Mcvay & his coaching decisions.I support him,but still shake my head as to WHY he does certain things.

I don’t know,so I’ll still continue to be a little upset at things.I already forgot,but support Troy Reeder. He ALWAYS has kept The Rams ship sailing. I look at what he has meant to the organization. I can go back as well.

The fact EJ53 was traded & EVERYTHING was put on Reeder.I say under the circumstances he did well.I mean he was boarder line making the team ?

The good thing moving forward is Speight got some quality playing time & he was mentored the right way.

He was going on vacation as I recall? With family, he actually moved as well last year ??

I just know he was out of his element & in a car trying to stay informed.Weather he knew or not .IMO he felt like he needed to get it out because of the timing.

Yes she had dirt or knowledge about him questioning his career path. What happened last year SUCKED!!!
