Atlanta played Chicago week 1. And the Pats lost the Dolphins. I guess they suck too.

Bayless is all whacked out! He's not himself lately. No way can he pick the Rams after they whipped his cowgirl team. He knows though...he knows who the real team is...he knows the Rams are going to kill it...he just can't say it!

After the Rams whoop up on the Falcons I am sure Dickerson will be on with them to rub their noses in it. Can't wait to watch that.
I was reading down to see if anyone mentioned Eric D. He is a normal presence among them and it's telling that they had excluded him for a group think moment, supporting the Falcons.

As for the show, I watch it for the trolling of Skip Bayless. I have enjoyed his uncomfortable groaning and murmering as others dissect his Cowboys horrific season. I really gain no football knowledge from the show otherwise.

I am surprised that so many people don't think the Rams stand a chance against the Falcons Defense. Willie MaGinnest is the worst. He keeps harping on the Falcons linebackers being too fast to run on. You would think they didn't lose a game all season. He says the Vikings fast linebackers shut Gurley down and so will Atlanta's.

Jeff Saturday went up to the board to pick sides. He gave QB and receivers to Atlanta, RB, Special teams, and pass rushers to the Rams. MaGnets looked dumbfounded. He said Atlanta has two running backs, how can you give running back to the Rams? What a tool.

I could see giving Atlanta the edge, because the Rams are young and inexperienced, but the line of thinking that the Rams don't stand a chance and Atlanta having an elite defense is disturbing. I wasn't worried about their defense at all.

Rams are the popular upset pick. And Willie didn't watch the Rams in Minnesota if he thinks the LBs were the reason we couldn't run. The Rams got manhandled period, but since that game their run game has improved.

I see this game as one that Goff will take the top off the Atlanta defense right out the gate to back 'em up in the secondary. Falcons will be all over Gurley at first, Rams need to burn them down the field in the passing game and get up on the board on them. I think that is McVay's gameplan: watch for play action down the field passes to open this one up.

Pats and fins are rivals and the fins always play them tough . I am not impressed with the falcons this year, offense has been very inconsistent.

And, for that, I call him a coward.

Offense has been inconsistent but their defense is very good.

The only valid point they brought up is that we don't really have a home field advantage. Crowd noise is never an issue for visiting offenses. :( In fact, Goff was having to use a silent snap count recently at our "home game" because the visiting team's fans were so loud.

THAT is ridiculous.

That and the turf is turrible.

The only reason that helps is that I don't think you can adequately prepare for the slippage during a walk-through. If Atlanta doesn't come with the long cleats, they may have a long day with tons of slippage.

How Gurley cuts like he does on that surface is magic.

I just watched this and I have to say I am confused. Didn't Jabba Weis die in the beginning of Return of the Jedi?

He was on the next day.

Yah, just think about the "experience" the Falcons had in their last playoff game!
