As someone alluded to it is 10x better going to Lambeau and facing the Packers.
Right! Pure myopia, it is better than going to Levi too. Spend the cash head to the game and make a difference. If you can't then I get it but you needn't blame the rest that can't either.

But, this (lack of game attendance/fan support) has been happening since the 1970’s though….so……
IN the early 70's, attendence figures in the coliseum sometimes went over 100.000 in the regular season...

As soon as the Rams moved back, we were against it....Yes, there was a built in hardcore Rams fan base still there, but the friggin Raiders won the ONLY Super Bowl in Los Angeles, damn their souls. When I took groups to Universal studios, they had a Raiders shop and a Dodgers shop....NOTHING Rams in the mid 2000's to be seen anywhere where I drove my bus Point is, the Rams need something big like a Super Bowl win to forever establish a massive footprint in LA. The Raiders had been gone from LA just as long, but they went back to Oakland AND they won a Super Bowl. We have to overcome that with another Super Bowl to steal their children and make them Rams fans....
Until then, we have to endure the fact that a lot of people of bought season tickets who are not Rams fans and are only about the money. and this is their payday.

All true along with the corporate season tix of which there are many.
Also once you factor in PSL there are very few games that are a profit and overall it is likely a net loss on the season.
It depends on schedule and success. I tried giving away tix for free on here during the JF days

You had me until people only bought the tickets for a payday.

I have tickets in two different sections and no one remotely around me bought for a pay day.

I think they exist but a minority by far. I would never invest in any sports team future. Just the SSL makes that a losing cause.

I would suggest investing in railroads. Much better return in the long haul. :)

I said "a lot" bought tickets for a pay day, but not all. I may have overstated it a bit, but certainly some sell tickets to the highest bidder, no matter from what fan base, to defray the yearly cost of them. I know you were trying to sell yours to Rams fans and I wasn't slamming you, btw.....

Didn't think you were brother. But thanks for the concern.

I would be a horrible ticket broker for Rams games.

Must be a racket for the unemotional. I just can't see how one makes a living doing it.

I ain't kidding about railroads. We can't live without them.

Not in the 70's. Last 100k attendance there was in the late 50's. In the 70's they closed up the seating to 90k+. Even at Super Bowl 7 there was "only" 90k+ in attendance.

Welp, you're right. I remember the place being packed out, but then you know how memory goes... There was 73,948 the day I was there on Dec. 16, 1973. There was 81,428 for a game midseason vs the Cowboys.

I lived out there in the 70s and I went to games out there in the seventies and we had plenty of fan support, pal
They already have. Trying to avoid a seventh.
I don't count the game that was a season ender when we already had the division locked up and we pulled starters.

I do give them credit for six in a row though.

Yeah I'm sick of these naysayers with their St Louis propaganda garbage'.

Right when the Rams need their support they want to bring up a bunch of crapola.

Last time I went to Universal was 2001 October. The Mummy, King Kong, Backdraft were some of the popular attractions. I posed for a pic next to the black Fast & Furious car.

We stopped by a gas station off the freeway somewhere, general area of Universal, and they had a Rams SB Champions cap on one of the spinning racks. The official silver and black one that the players wore after the win. Quickly bought it, but was surprised how easy it was to get. It was really ironic that the colors of it are mainly silver and black, with the classic blue and yellow Ram helmet in front, but it's the one the Rams all put on during the celebration.

But back to the thread: yeah I'm not surprised that Rams merch had vacated there. Nobody thought they'd come back. It was like they were gone for good.
