If Whiners have a bye week, due to the #1 seed, no way they rest the starters and go that long before playing them again. They will come at us and be relentless. If Purdy gets injured due to that mentality, the 49's are genuinely baffoons due to their arrogance. This is my prediction.

I see a lot of people posting they think the 49ners will be resting players because they will have wrapped up home field advantage.

Seeing how easy the Eagles remaining schedule is.

I doubt it - likely the 49ners will be playing for home field that game.

I mean I hope at that point we have 9 wins, and it doesn't mean that much to us.....
The Niners should have home field wrapped up by the last regular season game.

However, if the Rams are fighting to get into the playoffs still, and Shanahan asks his players if they want to rest or if they want to keep the Rams out of the playoffs, I’d bet that they all would say they want to play.

I hope the Niners rest starters and the Rams beat them. Niners fans have been ignoring the one time McVay rested starters and they add it to their winning streak. They will suddenly realize how dumb that was.

This feels like a trap game and a loss. let's hope I'm wrong and they bounce back from uninspiring sloppy play last game. if we are going forward, we will score 30 at least. less won't work as it means we are not firing on all cylinders. I hate the 9ers but did you see how dominating they were. we are the only team that can put the 9ers out of the playoffs if we get there if not us, we will witness the 9ers give the greatest f-u to the football world and win the fing Superbowl. go Rams.
I simply depends on the nature of the game. I feel like it's gonna be a barn burner, but who knows?

It starts with the DLine Thursday and it's good that Brown and Young are really coming on now which will make AD more effective. Jones will also blitz some too. Keep Carr off balance with different looks!

Naturally the Ram secondary has to be on point. We know teams pick on Kendrick because he has a tendency to bite on the first move.

I'm thinking we may see some 4 WR sets from McVay but when he does they can't be deep routes. Allow Stafford to get the ball out quick.

The offense HAS TO BE BALANCED! Run Williams/Freeman early and often!

that won't matter.

All the coaches rest the starters these days - if not for the entire game for a half.

It's not worth the risk.

I hope you are correct.

It would be great if the Rams need that game to get into the playoffs and win it, in part because the Niners rested the starters, then later were to knock the Niners out of the playoffs.

That would make the entire 2022 season a distant memory.

If the Whiners have the 1 seed wrapped up, they’d be fools to start CMC and Purdy with AD on the field.

Oh the whiners will play their starters for at least a half. They want a big lead so they can rest them in the 2nd. If we're going down I want to take some whiners down too. Knock some of them out for the playoffs. They can get back to 100% while they're sitting on their couches watching another team win it all.

It doesn’t matter to me. Let the Niners be themselves. It’s not the time of year to me to break momentum for safety’s sake. Play scared, lose scared. It’s for this reason I wouldn’t want to draft a player who sits out his bowl game. You sit players down when you have the game in hand, not for the woulda coulda shoulda fetal position stance. I’d much rather beat the Niners when they think they are at full strength. Fact of the matter is the playoffs have already started for us. No mulligans in our pocket. Our job is to knock the dominoes down that are in our path continuing Thursday night. Then we can have fun watching football Sunday knowing, no matter what, we are in control of our dominoes.

I don't care for rat boy and I'm glad he's not our coach, That said, he did build a pretty solid team, but CMC and Purdy both took huge hits against Arizona. I think he'll be smart enough to rest them.

Shanny is real familiar with injuries derailing his Super Bowl hopes.

As recent as last year vs the Eagles, Purdy went down.

Trust me, he will rest starters if they have the #1 seed wrapped up.

If not, I like our chances of beating them. We are a more physical team these days with a hard to stop run game.

Our defensive weakness is covering the deep ball. That isn't really Purdy's game.

If the 49ers win their next 2 games they will have home field so I don't really seeing them playing Purdy, Samuel, Ayuik and CMC in the final. The 49ers only have to look back to last year to know when one of their stars gets hurt the season could be over.
