49ners Final Week - resting players?

I see a lot of people posting they think the 49ners will be resting players because they will have wrapped up home field advantage.

Seeing how easy the Eagles remaining schedule is.

I doubt it - likely the 49ners will be playing for home field that game.

I mean I hope at that point we have 9 wins, and it doesn't mean that much to us.....

yeah but they have the eagles have 3 losses and the 49ners have 3 lossess.

They have the head to head tie breaker - not a 1 game lead.

It's hard for me to see another loss for the Eagles

They play the giants, cardinals , giants after tonight.

If the 49ners and the Eagles go into the last game of the season with the same record the 49ners can't just tank to us and lose home field.

If the 49ers have a one game lead over the Cowboys and Eagles going into the last game with us, then yes, they would have nothing to play for. But the Eagles have a weak schedule to finish.

Its a hard call on who we want to win tonight. Seattle loses and it give us the equivalent of a two game lead with 3 to go over them. It would likely reduce the teams were battling for a playoff spot by one.

If Seattle wins it might make the final game with the 49ers meaningless to them. We'd likely be playing backups. But Seattle's schedule gets easier after tonight. They finish with Titans, Steeler and Cardinals. They would possibly win out. And be 10-7 if they win tonight. Making it critical that we win out.

I think it would be safer to have Seattle lose and make it a 3 team race for the last two spots if we win Thursday.

We still need some help to get in with 9 wins. Seahawks could get to 10 (remaining games all winnable for them) and Vikings have tie-breaker at 9 wins.

I want the Ravens to beat the Niners this week so that we have the chance to knock the Niners out of the top seed in week 18. We are playing well but not likely winning a SB. Derailing the Niners would probably keep their "quest for six" alive (may it live forever) and give me a schadenboner.

This feels like a trap game and a loss. let's hope I'm wrong and they bounce back from uninspiring sloppy play last game. if we are going forward, we will score 30 at least. less won't work as it means we are not firing on all cylinders. I hate the 9ers but did you see how dominating they were. we are the only team that can put the 9ers out of the playoffs if we get there if not us, we will witness the 9ers give the greatest f-u to the football world and win the fing Superbowl. go Rams.
