The LA brass probably needs to trade for a legitimate guard now or just scrap this season. Wasn't there talk of probably trading for the 'Skins' OT Trent Williams and inserting him at LG? Let's go Les and Kevin!: make it happen!

It really just seems like that wouldn't even be enough. We have big problems at OL.

turned the game off at the start of the 4th..wasnt going to waste any more time when the outcome was never in doubt

First time in forever that I switched to another game , and that includes the 1 and 2 win seasons . I just couldn't watch a team with talent , completely stink .

Players are not executing.

Goff has zero time to throw the ball.

Rams beat themselves this game.

I think the Gurley injury is important because he's the heart of the team.

Without him, what is our identity???

And BTW, those bashing the D today, knock it off.

They only gave up 20 points, and one of those TD's was a very short field after Henderson's fumble. They made a couple stops at crunch time and also had the fumble recovery late to give the Rams another shot to score, and stopped another score with an INT in the EZ. The O, and particularly, the OL failed them, and failed them miserably.

That would be an interesting trade.
Not so much for this year but going forward.
What team is looking to trade an O lineman? Not many if any.

Technically yeah but look at the turn around they did McVays first year no one expected it then

Turnarounds can happen fast if the right things fall in place. Long time Rams fans who witnessed the turnaround from 98 to 99 know that. We are a competent OL from being at least an above-average team, but the OL is hot garbage right now.

Its amazing the difference one player can make brought in at the right time. We saw it last year.

What I've concluded is that we're just a physically soft team on both sides of the ball. An aggressive defense will always disrupt our offense mentally and physically, and our defense will always get pushed over. This game was like a lucid nightmare. You could almost see the exact moments that the 9ers decided that we weren't though enough to hang with them, and you could tell that the Rams believed it too.

There's lots wrong here. Last week the O played well enough to win but the D couldn't hold a 4Q lead. Today the D played well enough to win but the O was awful.

I fear this is 1981 again...a team with a lot of talent that falls apart for no discernible reason.

I been fearing saying this for a while. Goff is high end average to average at best. (8-15) He misses wide open and has poorly placed balls which has been his M.O. I see the excuses of the o-line isn’t giving him enough time which is true but even on the plays he does have time or not in imminent danger he throws a shitty ball to a whole load of wide open guys. He’s a fumble machine with no sense of pocket presence as of late.

I just disagree with this entirely. Goff was the better QB on the field today. Those 20 yard plus plays are statistically toss ups. He threw one to Reynolds over the underneath defender and in front of the receiver that hit him in the hands. Great placement. On his short throws he was placing the ball on the numbers despite having CB draped all over the WRs. If you look at Jimmy G's performance it was poor in comparison.

I think this game should also disabuse people of the idea that you could stick a rookie QB in this offense and get results because McVay.

I'm going to be skewered for saying this but Kyle Shanahan just calls a much better game than McVay. He sticks with the run even when BOTH of his starting OTs and his Fullback are injured. He knows when to call for boots, sprint outs, reverses and play action. In short he calls a better game than McVay and it isn't even close at this point.
And now that the Whiners are healthy he is showing what a properly schemed and game planned offense looks like.
I hope Coach Mac is taking notes.........

How anyone can say the defense played well today is beyond me . A brain fart by JG on the Int and an easy drop for a TD by the RB and they have at least 30 . They also had them pinned at the 1 with a chance to get the ball back , and gave up a makable FG attempt. Let's throw in the fact that Goff and the terrible oline put up 40 and 29 and lost both games . No defending that group
