We might not… But the Rams probably do.The problem is that we don't know what Stafford's plan is.

OnD though knows all about the Rams plan on Big RobWe might not… But the Rams probably do.
Anything that nets additional late R1 to early R4 picks would be optimal.I like GB #25-720 and #56- 320=1040
for #19-875 and #83 -175=1050
BAL #30-620 and #62-284=904
for #19-875 and #154-30=905
Of course it all depends on how draft goes and who's available at each slot.
IMO the Rams have 2 CB and 1 S positions to fill. Tomlinson at NB and Lake at SS are good. So I think they need to use their first draft pick at CB. And one of their R5 picks at S.I never do this but it's pouring outside.
Sign Edge Danielle Hunter and Center Andre James in Free Agency.
Trade #19 and one of the two 3rd round picks for a mid-20s 1st and a mid-20s 2nd round pick.
Draft Cornerback Ennis Rakestraw in the 1st, WR Roman Wilson and Guard Christian Haynes in the 2nd.
The remaining 3rd round pick is best available player at DL, LB, DB, TE or RB.
Go out and win five Madden Championship Trophies ... I mean another Lombardi.
Some agents floating that they think QB's go 1-4. McCarthy most likely 4th. It seems the general consensus is that Nix and Penix are day two guys but that maybe a team like Denver could fall in love with Nix and trade back in 1st but not far enough to the 2nd so would have pick him up late 1st.We are NOT taking a QB at 19.
The elite guys (Williams, Maye and Daniels) will be long gone by then.
The tier two guys (McCarthy and Nix) will also probably be gone, as some QB-needy teams will likely reach for them. Even if one (or both) falls to us, there are almost certainly players higher on our big board that are going to be available at positions of need.
There is no other QB even vaguely worth the nineteenth overall selection.
We may trade up for a QB, but given the holes in our roster I very much doubt that McSnead will want to give up picks.
Oh well; at least there’s only another eight weeks of this rubbish to go.
I'm not crying at this.I never do this but it's pouring outside.

Huge up-grade at Edge ... up-grades at CB and Center ... WR to stretch-the-field, provide needed depth (Kupp and Nacua take a beating) and for the future (Robinson and Atwell will be free agents in 2025) ... and finally, quality, experienced college Guard to replace the greatest off-season loss in Dotson.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. KAD in the 2nd though? Think that's high for what I'm seeing. I'd rather McKinstry in the 2nd personally, but I do like KAD.KAD = Kris Abrams-Draine (Missouri CB).
Kool-Aid ain't on my radar.
Uh, no thanks. Have you seen his cap number (currently 38.5m, but not sure what gets eliminated in a trade exactly)? And we are giving them a premium pick for a player that they are likely to outright cut who is 33 already? If they think they won't be able to sign him after him getting cut, maybe offer them something but nowhere near our 2nd.I'd like to see the Rams trade a 2nd round pick and a 6th round pick to San Diego for Khalil Mack.
It only takes one team to cement a trade but with every team in the NFL confidant that he'll be cut, hard to see a scenario where he's traded for with that contract.Ok, thanks for clarifying. Honestly, I think KAD's as good, if not better, than Rakestraw is. He's not getting attention because of his size (5'11", 179 lbs.), but this is a kid who had seven picks and thirty-three passes defensed in his career, is fairly physical for his size, and matched up against top SEC wide receivers (Rakestraw had an ACL injury in 2021, and had nagging injuries all throughout 2023, so I'm wary about that.) throughout his entire Mizzou career.Ok, thanks for clarifying. And speed. Our wideouts are slow. Our corners are slow. I agree we need some length at corner but speed as well. This is why corner early makes sense, because to get size and speed you generally need to invest a higher pick.We desperately need size/length at CB though
Kyree Jackson in the 3rd...6-3 CB with long arms, still ran a decent 4.51.We desperately need size/length at CB though
