Qbr is an awful metric. I hate it. Remember the patriots vs Texans playoff game? Where cj Stroud put up one of the worst outings you'll ever see? His qbr was higher than maye lol

Cowherd brought up a point today. Stafford? Fans worry about his picks but that's Stafford. He's a gunslinger.
And I remember Phil Simms telling somebody what Parcells would say to him sometimes. "If you don't throw a couple of picks today, you ain't trying hard enough". As I took it to mean, "Throw the fucking ball because we need to to win. So what if one or two get picked".

If I remember correctly, Stafford led the league in INTS in 2021. (SB win)
Yeah, but he cleaned it up some the last 5 weeks or so that year. I was critical of him that year, because he was playing hero ball quite a bit. Forcing throws, throwing 40 yard passes on 3rd & 3. He had a lot of bad habits playing on a team in Detroit, where he felt he had to get points on every drive.
He has improved greatly since then in terms of managing a drive, not forcing shit, taking what's there. McVay helped him understand he doesn't have to do it all on this team.

No mistaking this quote. It sounds like the defense was dominant. It's gonna be a scary D with Garrett and possibly Donald.
Thanks for posting. Been trying to find some tape and writeups, and this is about the best I could find so far.
The defense has a chance to be an all time great if they can pull the scheme together and stay healthy.
Lake and Mcduffie inside could really solve some issues that teams feasted on last year.
