Really think The Rams will go short on O”Lineman,but practice squad will have an abundance ??? This group will get a lot of playing time during the preseason.

Myself ....I would go the opposite direction than your suggestion due to future UFA's in the starting OL.

4 or 5 other Ram units has no such concerns....

Expecting other Teams to not be highly interested in signing our secondary or tertiary PS OL'ers would be UNwise IMO

With the Rams large quality and quanity of the DL front make up and rotations.......the breakout path for OLB'er Stewart has blue and red flashing lights with sirens on his helmet!

He is a special kind of special to me.

Alaric is probably not going to be counted on the 53 early ? Then again not sure how it works with suspension??

The Rams DB’s really are pivotal to Tge Rams Defense!!! Who do you think The Rams keep Murray & Henderson ? AJ might get the nod as a LT ? Trost The Rams won’t cut.
I have a feeling Bowles gets cut ?

Well I guess you might be right & keep 9 ??? WOW - yeah the numbers keep growing,but then again it might make sense to cut a couple of them imo,because it has a lot to do with The Rams system ?

Still can’t figure out how The Rams kept Humpries around all last season??

Have to say may 3 ILB only,but Grant Stuward is going to make the roster to go with Dolac,Landman & Omar.

Add Nick Anderson looks good & going to be hard to Cut just because of his size & speed.
In a way he can play in the box as a SS

Same with Jimmy. Looking at the lack of interest around this league you can see what Jimmy was being told some months back by his reps. Which is that there isn't a lot of interest in his services. That is a very likely reason why he chose retirement. Not because he somehow thought he is a starter in spite of the empirical evidence on the field and team indifference.

All this shit ends up being twisted to favor athlete egos. Teams show them that respect, and both sides playing nice keeps the nasty shit off the media radar. So you gotta look between the lines on this stuff I think.

Without a doubt. Rightly so.

I'd like to see Bennett assert himself here so the kid can redshirt. I think that is best for him. But if he's outplaying the vet it is what it is.

Yes, the Redshirt is probably best for Ty, but if he does beat out Stetson he must be leap-frogged to QB2 even if not in his best interest. Of course Jimmy G could then be brought in at some point if Staff did go down for a period, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Simpson might be just fine if thrown into emergency action for a game or two.

Ty, should be the number two moving forward.
Most 1st round qbs are expected to start and take their lumps, as we are all aware.
An occasional start, if needed, may help his development.

I agree. If they had an established Vet QB like JG to be #2, that's one thing, Ty could learn a lot. But to back up Bennett? He's already better, not sure what Bennett could teach him other than what NOT to do

I would actually like to see Ty get some late 4th quarter reps when we have those opportunities.
Getting him on the field is the best way to evaluate what needs to be worked on.

Late 4th Quarter reps??? You mean if we're up 24+ points with 5 minutes to go? Wouldn't he just be handing off then, while at the same time we're sitting down Nacua and Adams?

Perfect after all the HYPE of Ty Simpson,my question is this.

Did anyone see(hear) Sean Mcvays first interview when The Rams got back from KC ? Story goes ask Dave Ragone.I don’t talk with Ty Simpson.

Point being it’s going to be hard for any ROOKIE to get playing time with this 2026 roster. Plus Ty Simpson isn’t getting first team Reps as Stetson Bennet. He also made a point of saying The QB spot has a lot to do with protection & competition.

People can carry on. I might be WRONG,but I also won’t get caught up in The DRAMA of it.
Do I like what & where Ty Simpson is at as a RAM ? YES !!

I am sure deep inside the Rams org. there is serious concerns on the LT post at present & into the future. With 3 other key starting OL'ers contracts ending in 6 months will continue to draw lots of attention in preseason.

As of yet Rams never got their best 2025 interior reserve onto the field due to a right hand injury, Justin Dedich was the main reserve center last season too. That right hand injury is troubling. IMO Dedich WAS going to be the starting 2027 center.

Now add in the loss of the Rams top drafted & badly needed OL'er ...OT Keagen Trost leg injury, missing the rest of pre season & even more the loss of the critical playing time for a rookie, just adds into the concern mix here.... then throw the negative ongoing OT Jackson SAGA on that heap.......

Reference to your question On my early call on this Ram OL???

#1] the worth of veteran OT David Quessenberry skyrocketed on this roster for various reasons.

#2] Beaux Limmer currently top swing OG.

#3] UDFA rookie super versatile Austin Blaske will get extensive playing time due to those 2 above mentioned injuries.

#4] Entering his 3rd season, former 6th rd Eagle draft pick Dylan McMahon value, has sharply risen due to injuries to Dedich. At this time McMahon is one injury away from being the Rams starting center.

#5] Long time AJ Arcuri has 5 yrs of Ram experience in our offense. Add to the fact he can swing into 4 OL posts.

#6] Wyatt Bowles is primarily a left OG entering his 2nd yr......Rams will be looking for a Swing OG next season. Bowles will get some serious reps looksee this preseason.

#7]Rookie OT Bryce Henderson has a long long road ahead unless he can demonstrates possibilities as a Swing OT prospect.

Finally, Rams signed plugs on the OL. Bill Murray & a bonified Journeyman RT Blake Hance, who has signed 15 NFL contracts since 2019. Bill Murray has been a DL'er most of his entire playing career has no playing experience in NFL games on the OL. Bill Murray & Blake Hance are NOT Ram 2026 PS material.

I will pass from this world not having any clue why the Rams signed DJ. Humphries as the reserve LT last season.
