And that's why I really wanted a CB in the first 3 rounds. Our depth past our top 2 players is really lacking. Forbes is okay for a few plays but not the majority of the game at CB3.
We're pretty-much on-the-same page.

For me, the order was WR ... OT ... CB ... and in each case it was for depth.

Of course, it's almost three months to Training Camp, so there is time.
The only veteran I Absolutely Expect the Rams to sign is Troy Reeder ... and, that's mostly just to piss-me-off.

McCreary played a total of 38 snaps due to an injury but you're right ... he wasn't tied for 2nd in the NFL in PD

And, the point was Depth behind what the Rams currently have at Cornerback ... Not someone over Forbes

Right now, the Rams have McDuffie and Watson ... backed-up by Forbes and Wallace (played mostly inside). That's it. After that, it's 2025 practice squad players and undrafted rookie free agents.

A versatile veteran, like Roger McCreary, would have been a nice 4th or 5th CB, especially on a salary / cap hit that's barely above the League-minimum.
I would have liked McCreary at that price, too.

They may pick up a vet for the minimum later like they did with Witherspoon in 2024. They signed him in September that year.

Other than that, I'm expecting the depth to be 2025 PS players and this year's UDFAs. That's the drawback to having two high-priced, premium starters. The depth will be extremely cheap.

East Cleveland, why do the Ravens need to carry five QBs?

Of the available options, I might be more interested in Keenan Allen at this point.
Always been a big Keenan Allen fan. He's getting a bit long in the tooth but he still seems to be able to get it done. He's not taking over for DA unless he goes down but he might make for a good safety valve.

Pretty sure he's injured more than not. I think id prefer Diggs just seems like a better compliment to what we have.

Yes, but a few things work in favor of looking to Allen here:
1) he is more likely than Diggs to accept a lesser role (third receiver on a team that runs a lot of 13 formations)
2) he still put up 81 receptions last year, and 70 the year before that (in a bad year for him with the Bears)
3) he has indicated that he really only wants to play in LA at this point, so we are one of the only shows in town for him. And if he is looking to chase a ring in his last year, we may be the only show in town for him.

Keenan is a Robert Woods clone. He'd be a great option on 13 sets if PN and/or DA are out for any length of time this season.
...heck mebbe RW dresses up for a few games?? :D

If the 12 and 13 personnel stuff is real, will Diggs want to come go a team as a 3rd option? I imagine he can at least be a #2, probably in New England again.

Better chance of winning it here plus playing for the Rams and doing well would be good for him. Plus with Adams possibly done soon he could stick for a while.
