It's pretty clear, looking at the results, that these two guys were draft steals. We took a flyer on McClendon & it worked out great. Having 2 bookend T's on your team is invaluable.
Though I do wonder how much it helped McClendon that we played a lot of 12 and 13 sets last year.

Hmmm, I'd have strongly considered trading a 4th round pick for Howard. A pretty solid swing OT that could back up both our tackles. He also played a fair amount of OG last years too, so a useful back up. 0 sacks allowed last year also. Not a world beater, but useful swing backup and that would have taken that off our list. Of course, he did play on a terrible offensive line last year, so he may now suck.

Yeah but the Rams can't pay a 3rd OT that kind of contract.

Also, I don't believe the Rams have a 4th round pick.

Definitely. There's some names on that list that do not make sense to me. Probably teams who just called to do some window shopping.
