Man, I'm sure this is essentially a 1 year deal and they have to puff up the numbers but still that's a lot of money for a TE who didn't look all that great last season. I suppose he's a good safety net for when Mahomes is on the field. He wasn't all that great when he wasn't.

TEs like him who develop that mastery of option routes can play as long as they hold up medically. He'll be open just like Jason Witten was when he practically required a wheelchair at the end of his career.

Man, I don't like paying WRs huge money.
They are dependent on other things they cant control going right for them to be affective. I know, I know, the same can be said for any position.
I just think almost all WRs can be taken out of a game by scheme.
