They took him when there was an unwritten rule that you don't poach a player that is waived due to injury before the season starts.

And I call bullshit on that statement. Each team agreed to that unwritten rule even the Eagles. Now every player that is waived due to injury is free to be poached by any team. It only starts with one asshole.

Play by the rules now. You (Rams) like a player who was waived/injury, YOU claim him. No unwritten rules, just rules. It probably was a phone call between the two teams and who knows what came of it.
Maybe the Rams got something in return (not a player) that we have no clue about.

That's fine. I see that Snead was so enraged about it and angry with Roseman that he engaged in high level trade talks with him this past offseason which almost ended in a major AJ Brown trade.
Or since it fell through that he was just fucking with him.
