Live in NYC, and watch a LOT of Giants' football. Regarding Tomon Fox, I wouldn't expect too much.

600 snaps in four years. A starter plays about 900 in one year. 28 years old. Has been a borderline end-of-roster player on some bad teams.

I think he was signed because UDRFA Eddie Walls suffered a year-ending-injury.

Fox would need to excel in STs to have any chance. At best a PS candidate who offers experience.

Yeah that's what Atkins said....." He’s here to play special teams".....which is a very good thing. They added Stuard and now this guy to the special teams, which sucked last year.
I wouldn't put Fox in the Stuard category.

Stuard has been a top-ST-player in the League; and was paid well and should be a core special teams player.

Fox is a veteran league-minimum guy who will probably compete with 10-12 LBs, DBs and WRs for, maybe, one or two end of roster spots to play primarily STs.

Barring injuries, I just don't see Fox making the final-53 any more than I expected the man he's replacing on the training camp roster (Walls) to have made it.

I don't know if everyone remembers Tanner Brown the kicker out of Ok State we signed a couple of times. Well he's kicking for the Louisville Kings of the UFL and has been really good, this past weekend he hit a 60 & 63 yard FG which in that league is worth 4 points each. I'm sure he'll catch on somewhere this season.

The only catagory I put him in was "signed for STs".

I couldn't begin to know his odds on making the team. I do know our special teams sucked last year....and in 2024....so any additions that provide a chance for a keeper is fine I would think.

Nice, local kid played H.S & JC ball here. I had hoped he would do better when he was here but it can take time for kickers to find their groove
