Why? Help me understand why you think he's so good or why a team should pay the opportunity cost for him.
If you don't understand that he's literally the top player on a lot of teams draft boards then, I can't help you understand. You obviously have your mind made up there. Love is that good. Dude is a weapon, not just a RB.

I am looking forward to sitting back tonight and just seeing what happens. I have no particular preference for any player. I think the Rams are in position to get a very good player and possibly add draft picks depending how this all plays out.

I do not follow the pre draft stuff too closely but just for the fun of it, I will make a prediction or two or three.

No trade up. I just do not see it. I think they value their picks too much and there is a big gap in their middle picks. If they wanted to trade next years picks they would probably have A.J. Brown right now. So no...no trade up.

Good chance of a trade down. How far? I don't know. But they would do it knowing I can barely stay awake past 8 pm anymore so...yeah, good possibility.

The player? If they simply pick I will say Lemon. Why? Well, they love receivers and with Davante getting up there...why not?

Whatever they do, I just plan to enjoy it and then read about the player they pick.

Like this Lemon guy....whoever he is.

Hey @PA Ram ! great perspective on draft day -- after weeks & weeks of guess work, we still have no idea what direction the Rams will go, so why not just enjoy the day & all the surprises it will bring?

No one said he was but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that thought he would make an impact his rookie year the way he did. The only thing I was saying by posting that was that any given year, a rookie can surprise all of us.
I guess paying attention to what others actually said is tough to ask at this time of year.
Puka is irrelevant to what was said that started this little conversation. @DzRams had posted, "Snead said that it will be hard for any rookie to immediately contribute on this team..." So unless you are saying Puka is a rookie, it is silly to bring him in

13. Rams

Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

Is there a decided need right now for the Rams along the offensive line? There isn't, but Fano is a good enough player and there is no such thing as too much offensive line depth. That's especially true for a team led by a quarterback in Matthew Stafford who lacks mobility. Fano was an offensive tackle throughout college, but some evaluators say they believe he has the goods to play any of the five positions.

Remember when that scout jumped in the pool.
That was Brian Hill; and he jumped in the pool to celebrate the selection of Logan Bruss.

Bruss turned-out to be a Bust; and I rarely use that term.

Hill went to Jacksonville with Gladstone (GM), and is the Jaguars' Director of College Scouting.

Not suggesting Hill was a weak scout. He was also credited as a lead scout on Kupp and Jordan Fuller.

Would the Rams draft a player at position that is not a need after extending Williams? Yes, they probably would if they believe he is a difference maker.
Same can be said for the TE out of Oregon.
I could see Snead trading up or down.....but, I have a feeling the Rams will stay put at 13.

This has no real or meaningful application to the topic. I just really wanted to post it.

I think there's an argument for this.

One for which you haven't made.

You think you'd be able to do that if you thought that a guy falling or a player like Tyson taken before him was "retarded."

And Bruss was also a guy who was a much better zone fit, we started playing duo more I think that year or the following. Jourdan also mentioned there was a huge overhall of draft process after that year.

Ponds is the stickiest slot CB in this draft. He projected to go mid 2nd round so some Rams draft trading magic would have to occur.
Word is he is going in the 1st round and I don't blame anyone who does. The dude is a dawg and showed he can guard bigger WR's. Possibly my 2nd favorite CB in the draft.

Allbright tends to be very plugged in. Very interesting draft. Says Simpson goes that high cause ARI won't be able to get him even if they trade back in in the 1st.

I'd be good with it. We won't have passed him and another good player falls.

I think he goes to the Hags, if I'm honest, and I'll be pissed if that happens; he's my favorite prospect in this class, and if he were two inches taller, everyone would be talking about him as a top-fifteen pick.
