Definitely a quality roster. I think my biggest complaint with it would be our biggest problem is speed. We need speed all over the roster. Our wideouts are 2 strong, but we require speed outside the hash there. Our front seven has a lot of nice pieces, but we lack speed offball and on the Edge if Young leaves in FA. And we just added a big piece to the Corner room, but we still need another infusion of speed and coverage ability to round out the group, plus depth.
Im right there with you. Looking deeper, there are opportunities to improve talent, team speed and individual explosives. I include our RB’s in that conversation. Some fans clearly don’t.

The Birds Eye overview sees RB’s (and other position rooms) as “We’re good there.”
Going into the offseason with that philosophy is a mistake.

Fill needs yes, but add better players whenever possible regardless of position.

If Downs and the injury shit is true it hurts the Rams at 13. The guys I don't want seem to collect in that range. The guys who have injury or effort concerns like McCoy or Banks, or whose film isn't up to snuff and are all flexibility like Faulk, or who were slated to go in roughly that range and has alligator arms like Howell. It's kind of fucking irritating.

I've been hoping they go with Boston there. But I think there's a real chance Boston doesn't make it to us. He's too good a prospect to be a sure thing to be there when considering the group at large. As WRs go it feels likely to me that Tate > Lemon > Boston are all off the board by the time Dallas drafts. And Boston may go off before Lemon.

So I'm starting to wonder if the Rams may take a very long look at Freeling there because he's got the feet and athletics you want, and they never usually draft high enough to address LT. He would make a very nice swing OT on our depth chart.

Or maybe they look hard at McDonald, who adds the toughness we could use more of up front and wouldn't be too large a reach at 13.

Or maybe they consider one of the other OTs who looks like they may be a OG conversion, or perhaps even Ioane. This would be possible if they have decided internally that they're going to let one of their OGs walk in FA after the season.

Mesidor may be in play at 13 as well. We need to see what happens with Young in FA but if he leaves they will need a rotational Edge or a starter depending on what they think of last year's pick. Who I liked as a selection btw. But he was rather slow to find his feet in this defense so I am not sure what they're thinking if Young moves on.

Trade down would be great. But would anyone want to move up to that range? Maybe if Simpson is sitting there, I suppose. But 13 looks kind of ugly to me.

What makes you think Boston goes that high when most prognosticators have him going end of 1st round?

That's a big jump.

I looked at every receiver who are slotted in the first few rounds on most media boards. And Boston stands out big time.

I need to look at him more than I have but from what I've seen and read he seems like a pretty bad fit for our offense and needs to be in a less timing oriented offense where he can just run stuff from the X position and try to body defenders when the ball gets there. It seems like deep speed and ability to get in and out of breaks with agility are a problem. I think that lack of flexibility (literally and in certain offenses) probably puts him late first.

But... if beating press (another issue) gets fixed and that flexibility/speed in and out of breaks isn't as big an issue as it looks like to me, than he could be great.

Ceiling: Drake London

Floor: Allen Robinson when we got him here

He's big. He's physical. And he's sudden in the pattern. His movement is something I really appreciate. People been sleeping on him.

Also four drops in four seasons. Which is nuts when you consider he's a guy you put the ball on his frame when he's got DBs on him. That skill alone with Stafford at QB would be something.

He is the perfect fit in this class for the Rams offense. Given that what we need is not a slot, as we have the best slot in the NFL in Puka. What we need is size and perimeter hands who can run a fucking nine route or post up on DBs in the redzone. Check, check, and check.

That's not a description of our offense.

I don't believe he's sudden in pattern either but perhaps I'm not understanding you, what do you mean by this?

I'm certainly confused by your description of both.

100%.
And I don't share @So Ram 's optimism of J.Hunter. This kid literally had ZERO snaps in 2025 -- not even on special teams.
I think he must've been Snead's obligatory Auburn draft pick. Between him & CP Jr., we wasted 2 picks that might've helped us out on ST's -- our worst performing unit in 2025, by far, and the #1 reason we missed hoisting a Lombardi last season.
And I'm one of the biggest KW fans there is on this board, and genuinely excited about Corum too. But Love would be our next Dickerson / Gurley type, and fundamentally transform this team's Offense. We have serious threats at WR and TE that a D has to account for on every down, but teams can play nickel & dime against us all day long & still beat us. Sure they give up plenty of yards to KW & BC, and KW's EZ rate is crazy good. But Love could take it to the house on every snap (even passes out of the backfield), forcing the D to play 2 ILB's. Puka & Adams & Ferg would have a field day against that.
Ya I'd move up about 5 spots, & see if we can't make just one more trade w/ KC :D

We’ll talk about FANTASY!!! Yeah - you make solid points, but you have to play the Cards you are dealt with.
Say as you want about J.Hunter, the jury is still out on his play.Kyren wasn’t resigned until after the draft. No one knows how negotiations were going to go.
The Rams wanted to make sure they had enough depth.Blake Corum was fighting for carries as it was during the season.
J.Hunter still has 3 more seasons left on his contract.
—You tell me why Cam Akers & Ernest Jones were traded going into there 4th season? Van Jefferson was a different story.

Yeah... I think we are somehow going to address speed on offense at least with one player - probably a receiver. Love is a pipe dream but a big fast receiver is a possibility. Brazzell might be interesting in a trade down screnario.

Have to think now unless say Styles or one of the edges fall to us we go Sediq or a WR. I know Tyson is good his injuries scare me though.
I think Sadiq or a WR have to be chalk now BUT don't rule out another CB if Delane falls or McCoy passes medicals.

The only thing better than having one really good CB is having two really good CBs and McDuffie would be a great mentor to another top talent with his refined technique.

If the plan is to play more press man, I wouldn't rule out Colton Hood as an option either.

And he talks about Anthony Richardson in thread as a dart throw the Rams could take that doesn't preclude them from taking a QB next year. Trading a late pick for Richardson is unappetizing to me but I'll be curious to see what happens if it were to come to pass.

Colts Dump $34M QB Anthony Richardson After ‘I Was Tired’ Comment 18 Months

Less than three years after the Indianapolis Colts spent the fourth overall pick on Anthony Richardson, both sides have agreed to part ways. NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe broke the news on February 26, reporting the Colts met with Richardson's agent at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and reached a mutual decision. "Colts and Anthony Richardson have mutually agreed to seek a trade," Wolfe wrote. "Fresh start coming for 2023 No. 4 pick, Richardson."

He has shown flashes, it's just that his head isn't aligned with his talent. With the right coaching, and the Rams have that plus Stafford, who's to say he can't get his head out of his ass? If possible, not sure what it would cost? I wouldn't mind taking a shot with this guy, you can't deny his talent, IMO.

I would want the Colts to give us a 2nd Round pick to take on his contract
