Charles Davis mock would have me in full panic mode:
6. Lemon
7. Delane
8. Tate
10. Styles
11. Downs
12. McCoy

That leaves only Tyson of the top guys I'd have targeted. I do like Tyson as a player, not sure he is ideal with us since he cannot seem to stay on the field. Think I'd take the best trade back offer at this point and try to grab a EMW, Hood, Boston, Terrell later.

Sadly, I think the trend is going to keep heading that direction with both Delane, Lemon and McCoy gone by 13.
In his mock, I 100 percent go Jerimiyah Love.

That would require Love not getting drafted - like he has with him going 18. That seems unlikely.

I also think one or more of these top 12 teams will think long & hard about drafting an edge/OLB - rather than waiting for 2nd round. Possibly overdrafting a guy due to the league wide need/want for pass rushers.
Yes, I have hard time believing Love isn't going top 10 in a draft class lacking elite prospects.

Interesting. Gastritis for several months? I suppose if I were the Rams, I would need to know just what caused the gastritis. If it was stress, that might be a pretty big red flag. But if it was a bug or something else and he lost 25 pounds over a few months, that could explain his tailing off as the season wore on. I guess we're going to see what the Rams think of him in a couple months.

Man, as much as I would absolutely LOVE him on our team, RB is one of the stronger positions on our team currently. I maintain, if we were considering doing this, I'd need a Kyren trade in place. That would be too much sunk cost in a position that you can get by rather cheaply. I'd be completely fine with Corum/Hunter behind Love.

There was also talk of him having a back injury in the latter half of the year. If I was him, I'd get those stories out ASAP as it could explain away going from an elite top 10 pick to a fringe 1st.

Not only would this extend Kyren's health, we wouldn't need to spend big on the position as KW's contract will be expiring before Love's next contract would kick in. This would just be the continuing churning of the roster looking for improvement at all positions.

Our LT has blood clots so this seems like something we could handle especially since a common cause of it is alcohol abuse which would make sense for a college kid.

I'm not a guy pounding the table for Simpson but I wouldn't be opposed to him. I think the next few weeks will tell more for him than any other prospect.

Gennaro Filice (whoever that is) from NFL.com released a mock this morning, he has us taking:
13. Tate
29. McNeil-Warren

Its noted that both CB's go before our pick, but Lemon is still there. I'd prefer him but Tate wouldn't be terrible. Not sure I could be happy about EMW when we haven't drafted our biggest need, CB.

Would hope we'd signed one of the bigger named CB free agents then add in a 2nd round CB in this scenario.

I think kyren has 2 years left on this deal. I could probably eat it for that. Especially since backs are injury prone.
