Draft guy on ESPN, Evan Kaplan mock today NFL Draft Daily had us getting Carnell Tate! With Lemon going pick before us at 12. Also had Delane available for us, he went at 14.

Edit: he had
1. Mendoza
2. Bailey
3. Reese
4. Mauigoa
5. Love
6. Freeling
7. Styles
8. Downs
9. Fano
10. McCoy
11. Bain
12. Lemon
13. Tate
14. Delane

Also, Kiper going off on what a unique WEAPON Sadiq will be.

Got this off a Steelers site (disregard that) ESPN's Matt Miller has 12 true 1st round grades. He names the 12, a few of our targets including Lemon is one of them, so chances are a true 1st rounder will be there for us. This is also why I prefer the trade up for Love option.

Draft Insider Gives Out Just 12 'True First-Round Grades' In 2026 Class - Steelers Depot https://share.google/g1QjVmKuhutOA9bKf

Edit: sneaky sleeper pick for us Delane/McCoy.
And worth noting that it was Nate Tice who said he only had 7 (maybe it was 6) first round grades this year.

People are gonna be different but I like Tice, he shows you his work as an analyst if you listen to his show which is more to say for a lot of prognosticators.

Him, Ted Nguyen, Matt Harmon, Cosell are all good guys to follow for more in depth look at players. Not sure how I feel about the underdog guys and honestly have a hard time getting through Steve Smith's videos these days, dude needs a better producer and James Palmer doesn't help at all.

Tate would be amazing to get at 13. He’d be my top guy for fit, need, etc. Just a seamless perfect fit. Tyson would be if no injury issues whatsoever. But I think Tate goes 3-6 picks before 13.

Thats why i was stunned and put an exclamation point. Never seen Tate fall to Rams range up to this point. But these O-Linemen seem to be rising which could precipitate a fall of guys we previously did not expect. Also, we're seeing Lemon starting to climb (DAMN!)

Ha...I've been looking at this same scenario for the first two picks for a while now. Trade back to 21 with the Steelers, land Cooper, Jr. and then go get Rodriguez. This would seem to fill the final holes, except special teams, to go get'em next season!
IMO, we have a huge hole at back up OT.

OL rising up boards makes sense. TONS more WR's after the 1st round then quality OL.

Agreed. Do you want the Rams to address that in the draft? If so, with what pick? If they use the 13th, that's not a "back up". At 13, that would be a starter, maybe a back up this coming season, but at that high of a pick has to be a starter. So, draft a startng OT this draft at 13, or draft a back-up with a late round pick?

Or, go WR & ILB and shore up this team for 2026 run?

I am gun shy with Oline in the 1st round. For me with that fear in mind I would like to see an Olinemen picked anywear from 3 on.

The problem is it's a negative flag, where the player is going to be an outlier if he succeeds on the edge in the NFL. Maybe they can overcome it. But you won't know until they start in the NFL and you see the trend.

I'll say this... Most difficult thing for OTs to adjust to in the NFL is power. And Mauigoa I don't think will have any issues with that. But then neither will Proctor. So this shit isn't a perfect science, teams have to gamble where they think it's smart to do so.
Yeah. I'm glad the rams don't need to gamble though. This is a hard bunch to figure out

Although I mostly agree, the problem is that after the Rams' select in the 3rd round ... #93 overall ... they won't draft again (barring trades) until another 114 players are drafted. That's A.J. Arcuri territory!

Even good players like David Edwards and Warren McClendon were selected 40-50 spots higher than where the Rams are currently scheduled to draft after the 3rd Round.

The Rams have a chance to get three good, eventually productive and useful players in a couple weeks.
After that, it's a wing-and-a-prayer; and maybe, a couple special teams contributors.

So right about Smith. I am at the point where I just want to see his list because he does know his stuff. It’s the agonizing lead ins that seem to take forever before he gets into it. Talk about a guy who says a lot, but not really…
It’s like he gets paid by the minute/word.
