You know, we banter about a bunch of various players in these threads...and I see good qualities in all of them.

This tells me (if it were up to me) that the Rams should trade back and still get a very good player. I wouldn't trade back too far - maybe only 4-6 spots if possible and I'd still be pleased with the result.

But as was mentioned - McVay might have a specific player at 13 he thinks he could get...or that's where he feels the cutoff is for the top guys.

Mina Kimes presents Jordyn Tyson and Kenyon Sadiq as the only options for the Rams to Brett Kollman in her first mock draft and he picks Sadiq over Tyson for the 13th overall selection. He later selects Tyson over Avieon Terrell for the Jets with the 16th overall pick.

Also, Omar Cooper, Jr. was chosen over Denzel Boston at 24th overall for the Browns. Kollman describes Boston as making spectacular catches as a big X receiver on the outside and studying Rome Odunze while both were at Washington in order to emulate him a bit, but espouses praise upon Cooper, Jr. by calling him a Sean McVay big slot weapon who dominates on the inside much like Puka Nacua does for the Rams. He goes on to cite how smart he is in doing the little things to make it as easy as possible for his quarterback to throw to him. While both excel in getting yards after the catch as physical receivers who catch everything, I feel OCJ does so by making defenders completely miss him more while Nacua does his thing by being harder to bring down in carrying multiple defenders for extra yardage towards the tale end of plays.

Very weirdly written article. It was written yesterday and reads as if it had already happened when it is to be held today.

If he sticks and picks I think its more likely a OT. Less quality OT's and you aren't likely to get the one you want trading back. WR's are very quality throughout full 1st round IMO. Concepcion potentially being available in the latter parts of the 1st round sounds pretty tempting to me.
