Very shocking and sad. I wonder what happened?

I don't know. All I know is that Schefter tweeted the Buccaneers saying this and passing along their condolences.

Speaking as a gal who has struggled with mental health episodes, I feel for Martin and his family. If Martin died in custody of police (especially during a mental health crisis), the appropriate parties should be sued for everything they're worth.
Yup, money always makes it better and resolves all issues involved…..but cool story.

No, I'm not saying money resolves everything in the slightest. I'm simply saying that Martin's family, while the loss of their loved one can absolutely never be healed, deserve to have proper, unbiased answers to the death of Martin, and deserve to sue whomever was responsible for everything they're worth as a response.

Think of it like - and I apologize in advance, and I don't want politics because of this sentence - the Sandy Hook victims' families suing Alex Jones into oblivion. It's not about the money; it's about making sure those responsible will never hurt another person again, as long as they live.

Yeah, maybe a good time to await further information before grabbing the pitchforks and demanding consequences.

Everyone always jumps the gun on these situations. I want to hear the facts before I make a determination of what really happened.

I will be moving posts associated with this incident to this thread as I really don’t see that it belongs where it was originally posted.

Dude was crazy and was lucky the homeowner did not take him out before the cops got there. He was probably on something. Some giant guy breaks into my house he had better RUN out of that door when I come come around the corner.
Now, you say you don't want to bring politics into this, then bring politics into this.
Post edited for inappropriate BS aimed at a member of the board.

Let’s knock off the back and forth aimed at fellow members and do NOT go any further with politics. Referencing a current event is not politics by itself. I don’t really care what your beliefs may be - they don’t belong here.
