Presently the Rams cannot stop the run, so Williams can only help IMHO.I always liked Jonah Williams. Blue collar DL.
They've tried, so far nothing has worked. Moved Turner back to NT, and gave Brown and Gallimore more snaps on early downs.Presently the Rams cannot stop the run, so Williams can only help IMHO.
Well, maybe they need to make a change or two at ILB, but that's just me.They've tried, so far nothing has worked. Moved Turner back to NT, and gave Brown and Gallimore more snaps on early downs.
I have a feeling that you're not the only oneWell, maybe they need to make a change or two at ILB, but that's just me.
If you send that to McVay with more punctuation he might sign one.ILBs?!?!????!??!!??!!?!?!??
Improving the DL automatically improves the ILBs. A good chunk of our problem is subpar DL run stopping play. It's not just the ILBs that have disappointed there.ILBs?!?!????!??!!??!!?!?!??
Yes, we've got guys who love to get into the backfield, every play; problem is, sometimes the RB has already past the LOS. Without excellent ILB's who can shed blocks, this works against us. Somebody gotta stay home & mind the store.Improving the DL automatically improves the ILBs. A good chunk of our problem is subpar DL run stopping play. Exactly. And the people who are supposed to be minding the store - Brown, Gallimore, and Davis - aren't doing a very good job.Yes, we've got guys who love to get into the backfield, every play; problem is, sometimes the RB has already past the LOS. 4-3 requires ends that can take on OTs in the run game and contain/rush on pass downs. So long bodied types with power. OLBs are easier to find.Say switch to 4-3 use two DT and DE and then you don't need a 350lb NT
The Rams practices must be extreme, but odd when comes gameday we get worked. Mindboggling.Bring up Murchison only to see him break his foot minutes into his first practice and go back on IR.
One step forward, two steps back.
