Damn... Puka, you not watching this, are you??!??!!34 Mill a year average, fml

And anybody else remember the stink raised when a few of us said Jefferson wouldn't be the highest paid WR for long? LOL
Totally fair. And anybody else remember the stink raised when a few of us said Jefferson wouldn't be the highest paid WR for long? LOL
I'm wondering if this contract was part of the delay with Aiyuk. Perhaps his team was waiting for this shoe to drop, and thus raise his contract expectation.34 Mill a year average, fml

It's not that any of us think he's better than Jefferson, which was said at the time. It's just the nature of free agent contracts. It's unlikely Lamb stays the top guy for long with all the other guys wanting deals. Chase probably gets 4 years as well and like $2 million more.Totally fair.
I didn’t see it happening this cycle and I was 100% wrong. Period. End of story.
Some dudes are born to play second fiddle. And anybody else remember the stink raised when a few of us said Jefferson wouldn't be the highest paid WR for long? LOL
From the little I’ve heard the numbers aren’t even close to Lambs or Jeffersons because of the numbers (stats) alone. I think what was reported the whiners were at 25 and Aiyuk 28. So not crazy apart. How true that is no one knows right now.I'm wondering if this contract was part of the delay with Aiyuk. That is what it will honestly take, but which owner has the balls to do that? Does it affect the money they bring in? If too many do it, will the NFLPA cry collusion? I personally don't know the solution, but something is gonna give one of these days as these salaries are getting insane and insane at a crazy pace. I remember when paying a WR 20 mil per year was insane. That'll get you a middle of the road WR for now lol.
When will teams just let these wrs walk or trade them? Teams don't need the best wr in the league to win.
Having said that, it would have killed me if the Rams let Kupp walk.
.
I'm gonna guess Aiyuk wants more than the 28 mil Pittsburgh offered from the Whiners due to CA taxes. Loving this situation, wanna see it drag out and screw them as much as possible. From the little I’ve heard the numbers aren’t even close to Lambs or Jeffersons because of the numbers alone. Lol. If teams are spending to the Cap limits, the NFLPA couldnt cry collusion. If too many do it, will the NFLPA cry collusion?
Yeah that same source which if I remember correctly was the Rich Eisen show was that both the Pats and Pittsburgh offered more but he (Aiyuk) shut them both down.I'm gonna guess Aiyuk wants more than the 28 mil Pittsburgh offered from the Whiners due to CA taxes. Seems right. It's not that any of us think he's better than Jefferson, which was said at the time. It's just the nature of free agent contracts. It's unlikely Lamb stays the top guy for long with all the other guys wanting deals. Chase probably gets 4 years as well and like $2 million more.
