'now' ?!?!
Well when he began his time as the starting QB for the Packers, he didn't seem like an asshole.

In the last 5 to 10 years though, he has upped his assholeness to a whole new level of assholeness.

And I was trying to not go to his level - dammit

He's just a weird fucker. Always has been, it is why he dropped in the draft.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara, seeking new contract, skips end of mandatory minicamp

Biggest takeaway from each NFC South team's 2024 selections | 'Path to the Draft'

Alvin Kamara skipped the New Orleans Saints' final practice of mandatory minicamp on Thursday.
Kamara's departure was contract-related, the running back's agent, Brad Cicala, told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Saints coach Dennis Allen confirmed that Kamara participated in the morning walkthrough but left during the practice session. The coach said he couldn't confirm why the running back left after attending previous workouts.
Skipping the final day of mandatory minicamp subjects Kamara to a fine.

Kamara technically has two years remaining on his contract, but it's effectively a one-year deal at this stage. The back is set to make $10.2 million in base salary, with just $1 million guaranteed. His 2025 base is $22.4 million with zero guaranteed -- essentially a dummy year on the back end of his extension to inflate the per-year average.
With Christian McCaffrey recently getting a new pact, Kamara, the No. 2-paid RB, wants his deal with the Saints reworked; the two sides have been discussing a contract restructure for a few months, but there has been no progress, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported Thursday.

It's unclear at this point what would satisfy the back. Is he looking for an extension that keeps him on pace with CMC? Would moving money up from 2025 to this year suffice? Does he want more guarantees?

Kamara was suspended for the first three games of the 2023 season for an off-field incident in Las Vegas during the Pro Bowl in February 2022. Upon his return, he once again took the mantle of New Orleans' lead back. He touched the rock often but was inefficient most of the year in Pete Carmichael's offense. Kamara generated 3.9 yards per carry -- his third straight year at or below 4.0 YPC -- and had a career-low 5.4 yards per target as a checkdown option for Derek Carr.
Kamara profiles as an excellent fit in new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's scheme. Before he takes a real snap in that O, however, he'd like to work on his contract.

Haha Although this isn't probably that bad of a deal due to his age missing whatever he can Glad the Aints have to pay more those whiney pussies!

I want Aaron Rodgers to fail. So much so, I won't even consider drafting him on my fantasy team.

Just don't like the guy.
if I draft him..guaranteed flop

As I replied in another thread :D

Anybody thinking he wouldn't get a deal really wasn't being objective and thinking about what it would mean to that team. Also there were a couple people really upset with me when I said Jefferson's deal would also be broken because that's the way contracts work :D The next guy gets more and now Lawrence who some thought wouldn't get a deal is now the highest paid QB in AAV.

Uhhh so I take it that the "A" on your avatar does not stand for Aaron, is that correct?
Just wanting to clear that up.....

Damn, now its looking like Stafford is a bargain. I can't imagine what Purdy's gonna cost the 49ers after this year. OTC has there top ten salaries combining for about 200 mil in 2025. Then Purdy. Then Aiyuk.

Its possible the division is gonna be set up for us to dominate after this year. Who knows? Maybe even this year if our defense comes together.

Apparently Mahomes has only earned $136m since entering the league. Man he's looking after the chiefs.

Meanwhile Kirk cousins is the king of signing big contracts without winning much of anything really.

Having said that about Mahomes, I think he makes $20m per year from endorsements.

And the chiefs will pay him whatever he wants if he wants an upgrade.
