When my Rams sucked for most of 20 years it caused me some introspection as well. How could I have waisted so much time on Sundays. All those sunny Sundays I sat inside watching this stupid game.

Now all that makes where we are now so much sweeter.
Luckily for us, Kroenke was a shrewd businessman and had the 1st right to buy the team in his share of ownership deal. Or we would be owned by the Jags owner. I probably would have shot myself.

100%. For all the suffering Rams (or any team’s for that matter) fans have had to endure, the success is all the more sweeter. There’s a sense of pride and validation for sticking with a team thru the good and the bad (53 years and counting for me). I can’t stand hearing people switching teams in order to pick up a current more successful team.

For the first 38 years of my life I barely got to watch my favorite team play. Being in PA, getting to see the Rams was like a once a year tradition.

So, in 2005 when I got married at 38 years old, my wife bought me Sunday ticket, I cherished every game, even the bad ones. I rewatched every game. Back then I’d record them. It was like a life long dream come true. I learned then that no matter how bad the team was, you could always focus on the good parts. You always could find hope, and that never getting to see the Rams play was much worse than watching them lose.

Lot of guys got lost in the move. CodeMonkey was another guy I enjoyed talking to. Stranger as well. Hell, my dad no longer pays any attention outside of fantasy football, so I can understand why a lot of people didn't follow the Rams. The Lou's been burned a lot when it comes to football.

I sorta miss SumrbtrU (Some are better than you. Can't remember exact user name) and Coach.
