I always have and always will be be rooting hard for any team playing the Eagles (Exception being the 49's).. When we beat them in the NFC Champ game, the Eagles fans tears were so delicious.

Brudda... I was at that game in The Lou!

I still have my ticket stub (SEC 114 ROW M SEAT 7). It has a picture of Faulk running the ball with Kurt in the background. I had to buy the tickets through a ticket broker from Chicago because the StubHubs weren't around back then. I only needed 1 ticket, but I had to buy a pair to get a quality seat. I offered it to my friend in NY for free if he would pay for his flight so we both flew in and our flights both landed within 15 minutes of each other.

I also still have the towel that the Rams put on every seat for that game. It has the Ram logo and NFC Championship Game info printed all over it. I keep meaning to get that towel and ticket stub framed together... this is yet another reminder.

Lots of those eagle fans flew in on the flight my friend came in on from NY. He told me how quite the flight was going back compared to the flight down. He also literally told me about those fans crying (with real tears) on the plane. LOL. They are some loud mf'ers to deal with... except when they lose!

Actually, if you look at the video, the line judge quickly blew his whistle while the players were still fighting for the ball. He blew his whistle while running in, waved his arms then signaled false start. The back judge's job when there is a loose ball everyone's fighting for is to get right there in the scrum to try and determine who ended up with it.
Typically if there’s a scrum and any recovery is down by contact, it’s the closest official’s job. Down judge in this case (was that what you meant). Back judge would move up on the play and make sure there’s no foul play occurring on the secondary.

I’m from PA. I hate Eagles fans and over privileged Steelers fans.
I was at the Coliseum, I think it was 2017 when Chris Long got into it with a Rams fan in the stands (just shouting at each other) after the game ended. The Eagles fans were crazy obnoxious to say the least with that win. It was hard walking out with those fly eagles fly chants everywhere and they did show up in numbers. So, when the Rams beat them, I'm very happy.

that actually just pisses me off. It probably took away any chance of wild card for the rams. Rams have no back up plan. Bears hurt us twice.
We hurt ourselves with that Bears game. Win was for the taking. Pisses me off. :clinkingbeer:

Whatever happened to @Username? That was his line if IIRC.
If I recall right, he was not only purchasing a remodel and had a new baby but was also not interested in following the Rams to LA. He was pretty sore about the move. I can't really blame him. I was pretty sore about the Rams moving to the Lou.

Always liked talking to the guy though. It would be cool to see how he's doing.

Lot of guys got lost in the move. CodeMonkey was another guy I enjoyed talking to. Stranger as well. Hell, my dad no longer pays any attention outside of fantasy football, so I can understand why a lot of people didn't follow the Rams. The Lou's been burned a lot when it comes to football.

Yep. I think maybe half of the guys we all met up with during the @Thordaddy memorial game are gone because of the move.

Can't change that now. Glad you hung tight Memsie.

Cheers my friend.

Cheers my friend.

The Rams are my team. They're the only team I've ever known, so I couldn't exactly jump ship, and even if St. Louis got a new NFL team, I wouldn't jump ship then.

Love all of you guys, even when we disagree over things. You're my sports family.

I'll second that -- to be honest with myself, ROD is the reason I stayed. Chiefs Planet is hooorrrible.
But ya I miss guys like the Rev, and Mfranke -- his game summaries were terrific reads. I learned a lot about football from guys like them.

Been a lot of cool characters on this forum and the turnover has given us more of the same. Every time someone disappears, a new face with knowledge of the game and a passion for the Rams steps up.
Regular contributors from the old days like @X, @Thordaddy, @DaveFan 51, @bluecoconuts etc. are always missed, but really appreciate the guys that have stuck around since the beginning and everyone who has joined since.

I was a season ticket holder when they played at Anaheim.

I followed them religiously even after they bailed to St Louis (mostly meeting new folks at Post Dispatch Rams forum).

Now they've returned to LA and I have new season tickets (still never been to a game since I had to move to Seattle for my job!) and this place is my new Rams home.

As Grateful Dead would say, "What a long strange trip it's been"...
