Wish we could find a way to trade for Jerry Juedy. I knows it’s probably not feasible but still I would love him on the rams.

I'd even be happy signing Judge Judy!

I believe that the next time we see ex-Rams David Edwards he will be playing RT. Being over 6-6 tall made playing the OG position even harder for him. David was never that good at hitting his blocks on the 2nd level.

Believe it or not, the few snaps he took with offense @ LT were not all that bad.

Exactly.
To sign him, a team will give him a 3-4 year deal with decent signing bonus and low guaranteed money.
Something like
4 year deal, 75 mill
20 mill signing bonus,
2023 5 mill salary guaranteed
2024 12 mill salary, guaranteed at start of 2024 league year
2025 15 mill salary non guaranteed, 4 mill roster bonus
2026 15 mill salary non guaranteed, 4 mill roster bonus
That way he gets his chunk of cheddar, and team is protected if he flames out
Probably. But if teams are scared off by his knee and lowball him it's possible he takes a one year deal. Which could be with us with an eye to build his value. He knows what he can do in this offense with Stafford.

Good riddance. Edwards is talented as hell but he's just the big fat kid drinking a slurpee. Not enough dog. I want some mean fucking linemen for that pipeline at a minimum even if we get them via a 6th round pick and some UDFAs.

I have a reall hard time understanding the desire for fans to want to put all of what little cap funds $$$ into a damaged knee & drama covered past 30 wideout OBJ ? :hellno:

The 2022 Ol would not permit #9 last season to make the throws.... what makes anyone think #9 will have more time this season?

The Rams WR unit that is by far the most talented unit on the entire team.

My first reaction was to disagree, but sadly, the WR corps just might be the most talented group on the team.

That makes me sad. Those guys outside of Kupp aren’t scaring anyone.

That's a good indication of how deeply deficient the roster really is. Kupp is the only receiver who makes a difference. Atwell might, Jefferson might, Robinson used to, but none of them have really proven it with the Rams. This is at best an average receiver corps (except for Kupp). I hope they can prove me wrong, but I doubt it. Atwell maybe.

Rams desperately need more real playmakers on offense beyond Stafford and Kupp.

Would those patches be like my old blue jeans heavy-duty knee patches I wore for most of my childhood?

I thought that last year the Rams ran out of OL patches & the patches that McVay used were already used & full of holes.
With our offensive line woes, I dont see us drafting a RB in the 2nd or 3rd rounds

Rams Sign Rams QB Judge Judy to 1-Year Deal

Former TV star Judge Judy has found a new home.

According to multiple reports, the Los Angeles Rams have reached an agreement to sign Judy to a one-year, $7.5 million deal.

Following the release of legendary backup quarterbacks John Wolford and Bryce Perkins in February, the Rams had a clear need at the position behind starter Matthew Stafford.

Judy brings to the Rams her experience of a mentally demanding 25-year TV series as the tough non-nonsense Judge from her popular show.

Rams Head Coach Sean McVay watched her throw and was impressed by her arm strength.

"Definitely has a stronger arm that Wolf or Perk," McVay gleamed. "She can make all the throws. No arm issues at all. Her elbow is fine. She's just that special player and I've always respected her game. Things that she brings to the table; I've known her a little bit. She literally just got here last night. An incredibly sharp lady. We feel like this is the right move for us given the circumstances in the quarterback room. Gives us a chance to have her and we'll see how it goes and take it a day at a time once minicamp starts."

Rams General Manager Les Sneed was also high on the signing. "F them picks," he joked with reporters.

Judge Judy was all smiles. "I'm a huge Cooper Kupp fan," she said enthusiastically. "I can't wait to get in sync with him in training camp."

When asked if she could handle the rigors of a full NFL season, Judy replied sternly "This is now my courtroom! Case dismissed!"

Judge Judy will be calling the shots if Stafford misses time with chronic elbow injury.

Why would they?

With this season working out as it has...& just like I thought it would. The Rams have 2 RB's that can play signed.

There is also a supersized amount of UFA's aging worn-out sore knees all with very large egos & large heads fresh off the Wavier Wire Contention line looking for work. If they want to play they will be forced to sign cheap, use them & then move on in 2023.

In 2024 Go get the desire RB's of choice in the 2024 draft when they can grow with a new emerging Ram team

Rookie, RB's don't need much time in front of sesame street NFL training film time to play in the NFL the common big thorns are they are not smart enough to learn or are too big-headed to learn to pass-block in the backfield.

You can find good RB of all sizes & styles late Saturday afternoon on the 3rd day of the draft. Just ask the KC Chiefs ...last season their 7th rd selection RB Isiah Pacheco replaced & flew past their 1st-round selection Clyde Edwards-Helaire as their starter.

If I was going to sign a UFA RB KC's UFA Jerick McKinnon would be one of my top signs.

That's disgusting
Yeah, I know. BTW, the Kansas City Chiefs have 1 guy left on the roster from their 2019 draft (7th round G Nick Allegretti, who has started 12 games in 4 years, 3 last year). So the last 2 SB Champions have 1 player still on their roster of the 14 guys they selected between them! OMG!!

That doesn't change the fact it's disgusting to look at. Especially considering where we're at now, we can't afford classes like that.

Really? We shouldn't be churning the roster? We should be keeping guys drafted in the 2nd (1) through the 7th from 4 years ago? None of those guys we lost had a 5 year contract. We are talking about past Rams drafts that had no 1st round pick, so the stud you keep for 5 years doesn't exist. My god, it seems we're going out of our way to invent problems!!! Take a look around the NFL and see how many of the 224 guys drafted from the 2nd round down in 2019 are still with their drafting teams. I'd bet it ain't too many. If there's 50, it's only 22%. And I doubt there's 50.

And the thing is, we CAN afford classes like that. In fact we've been living off of classes 'like that' to the tune of 60-38. Give us 4 years and then please, go out and give us a comp pick.
