Yea I agree and I will always remember our superbowl and will always be grateful but as fans we experience the highs together and celebrate and discuss and as fans we also experience the lows and discuss and vent about that. Isnt that what a fan is?

Fan short for Fanatic.

Lastly that's what the board is for lolol. @OldSchool you truly a great poster a great fan and a damn smart one but I'm surprised you of everyone feel that way unless your just showing your frustration differently lol
Everybody does things differently. I'm not going to worry about things beyond my control. I'm still going to celebrate the great result from 2021 that nobody around here thought would happen. Just like nobody around here seems to think we have a shot at doing anything in 2023. We spent way too long being a shit franchise before the McVay and Snead duo led us to a SB victory. I remember those shitty years and don't want to act like we did then. But everybody is a fan and can do their own thing. My way seems to upset people not much I can do about that. But no matter what 2023 brings it'll be better than what we did prior to McVay/Snead because there's hope at the end of the tunnel.

A question was asked and I answered it. If you don't want answers different from your own maybe don't ask questions. I feel great knowing that two great Rams won a Super Bowl and there are many many other great Rams that didn't and some that never even got a chance. I'll celebrate that instead of piss and moan about 2023.
You literally missed the whole point. I never asked nor referred to the Superbowl. I'm sure most fans, myself included, are grateful to have won a SB and wouldn't trade those past years for anything. Celebrating ended a while back for me since a whole season and new champ has already happened. However we are talking about the now which is the Rams tearing the team down to pay the credit card so to speak. It's extremely sobering to see and also know we are going to have to watch a hard year or even 2 of football before the true reloading happens. It's not pissing and moaning just acknowledging it sucks to see.

You asked if fans thought other fans were over reacting. Simple question and I gave a simple answer that you seemed to not like. Life goes on but I'm not going to spend my off season worrying and complaining about things beyond my control and throw in the towel for the 2023 season. Simple enough.

Ok so we basically disagree about 23 being a throw away year it seems? That's fine by me as I never expect everyone to agree with me. However not sure why the piss and moan comment was there since fans will feel down and express it when a season looks bleak based on our immense losses.

Definitely not upset and I don't think everyone has to agree with everyone hate to compare offspring but it's like your kid you will always love them you will always support them trust them nurture them but there will be times they will disappoint or make choices that leave you scratching your head.

Having said that it's all good but I said I will trust til I see otherwise but as a fan I can still question decisions as they are made can't live in the past forever no matter how grateful we are. Got to love on the present and yes look to the future. Superbowl or not though I couldn't and wouldn't be able to take a throwaway season no matter how much I love this regime.

Fans feel down about every off season and every draft even prior to the last few seasons. How many threads were there lamenting the drafting of Tutu over a center that shall not be named. How many vent threads do we have on a weekly basis even with a winning record. It's what is done around here use whatever phrase you want to describe it that makes you feel better. But every free agency cycle when the Rams don't sign the free agents, resign their own free agents or draft the players that some fans want there's a ton of complaint/vent/whining threads about all the topics. Lets not act like this off season is any different in that regard.

The Rams built their team and spent money and draft picks the way they did and they won a SB doing it. In spite of fans here and around the league as well as the so called experts saying it will never work. Now they're resetting things to give it another go. Our coach has said he's here for the long haul not just a short stint. They're going to be back and competing and these two guys that built a champion are in the process of building another one. That's what I'm here to watch them getting back there and winning a third for this team we all root for. And with fans here and around the league and all the experts mourning the corpse of the franchise I'm going to enjoy the show of them rebuilding this team. I don't know what 2023 will bring and in the grand scheme I don't give a shit what it brings because I know that '23 isn't the end product it's a step along the way and it will be a short trip to winning again IMO. Sorry if my long view and not worrying about one off season upsets you so much. By all means go on doing what you do, I've never said you shouldn't, I just say what I do and why.

Sorry but you're not reading this forum if you honestly think that. And I'm surprised you think they threw in the towel.

These guys did what only one other coach/gm combo did for the Rams. And they're sticking around to try it again. I'm all on board for that. I'm sad that Gabriel, Jones, Olsen, Van Brocklin, Ellard, Dickerson, Everett, Younglbood, Cromwell etc etc etc never got to play for guys like these. I'm so incredibly happy that Kupp and Donald and Ramsey and Whitworth and the rest did. We'll survive 2023 I have a feeling and come out better on the other end.

Of course I can agree with all of that easily. And I do believe that the plan isn't visible to us just yet and from the depths of my heart I don't think they would throw away a season for fanbase sake but not the DNA of Mcvay and others. That said it's like game by game Monday quarterbacking we all do it and RT now as the plan isn't clear fans going to critique and or panic etc. It's pretty normal I definitely see your outlook and agree with it I though personally believe but also lack patience lolol and as a fan I do worry. Yea though everyone different I can respect the calmness though.

I keep saying, as long as there is a plan. If the plan is to suck and get a better draft pick (future QB)…and that’s what McVay wants..,then gosh darnit I’m in. Whatever the plan is - I support it. As long as McVay is on board, I’m on board.

OS you said you weren't throwing the towel. Just stating my opinion who did for 2023. I just don't see how this team can do well after letting go almost 20 players, half of them starters. I call that throwing in the towel for 2023.
Its great you think McSnead can draft and/or sign 3rd tier FA's to make the Rams competitive in 2023.

I'm more than skeptical, but will be jubilant if they win more than half their games.

We need to be patient. Once Trader Snead reloads with plenty of picks in rounds 1-3 in the very near future, he can then scour the rest of the league for whichever top notch players he'd like to trade for. Then once again, paying a top price in both picks and contract.

I will just say that if I hate the moves overall and don't like our draft I'm gonna be negative about the season and our chances. But no need to take the short cut to miserable. Hope always feels better.

If they tank the season and it equals Caleb Williams or Drake Maye, then I’d be alright with it, despite 2023 not being a fun season to watch.

Yeah, that approach sucks. We're only 60-38, 7-3 in the postseason under that formula.

I am confident McVay will find our next QB without having that top pick range. He'll snap up one of these mid round types and coach him up.

But all that aside I agree. If we happen to shit the bed and get a top pick it will have a platinum lining.

I for one am good with it, and @ottoman89 What do you think about it?
“I love it!”
