Ahhh…1 for 23 and counting.Oldnotdead predicted numerous times that Spanos, the Chargers owner, is in dire financial straights and is too cheap to pay the big money it would take to get Herbert signed. As a result he also predicted that Spanos would let Herbert leave in FA and/or just trade him to the Rams.
As we've seen today none of this was remotely true....

He wants a trade because he's unhappy with his contract. Last year of his deal and only has a base of just under $5 million. Rams could trade for him and extend him and drop his cap hit by a few million like they've done before. But everything I read on this guy is he's a very big one trick pony. Can absolutely rush the passer which we need. But he's a huge liability in the run game.Vikings looking at options to move Hunter. Has Snead looked at this yet?
