It is not about great players and good coaching, it is about good players and great coaching........Bill Parcells

McVay has a pretty impressive pedigree so soon in his career. He takes late rounds and gets them huge contracts with other teams. He makes assistants Head Coaches. We have no idea what the potential is of these guys they chose with their eyes and minds. We never have.

I like the potential of this draft so far based on the little we know.

Keep it going.

Reading up on him. Seems like he has some good qualities, and we certainly need more on the DL.

Can't say I saw this one coming, though.

The 9ers will pick a corpse who will immediately be installed as the betting favourite for OROY. The Cardinals will draft a half bottle of Vodka.
Dude Keim isn’t in AZ anymore, otherwise I’d believe you on his way to another DWI!

So corner hopefully gets addressed early tomorrow. Would have preferred a more physical edge but if this guy can develop into a blindside threat it'll look good down the road.

Feel good though due to the early OL pick. Did not see that coming. Never really thought it would happen.

The Washington drop stops, unfortunately.

Edit: sorry, switched to PFF and they apparently are still a pick ahead of NFLN

We got three guys that will contribute as rookies. We got three guys to help the trenches like most everybody wanted. And I read a ton of complaining from Rams fans everywhere :D

Turner will be AD's replacement. I see him playing behind AD this year. This is a pick with an eye on next year. AD said last year this would be his last year. This allows the Rams to groom him for the position at 3T. Murchison and Brown in rotation replaced Gaines because Morris insists upon playing a Fangio style front which is a mixed 1 and 2 gap style with read and react. Sorry, you can't see me frowning and shaking my head. It's why AD will probably retire after the season. Morris doesn't care if the DL doesn't get sacks, he's more about preventing long runs, i.e. containing the offense not beating it. This is why the Rams need crazy speed on the edges if they are to get pressure.

Bruss last year was pick 104 right? So we have 3 dawgs now already and we wouldn't have even picked yet last year.

Disappointing as I'd have loved him in the 5th, as much as that was likely wishful thinking.

But after Lewis, I was not keen to spend another nice pick on a Georgia player with significant injury concerns.

It is rare a player that already has big injury concerns in college, manages to have none in the NFL, where the players are bigger, faster, and stronger.

EDIT - I am happy he went to Pittsburgh rather than Arizona or SF to close out the round. Last thing we need is Washington crushing it, and giving those guys great value.

The PFF show is non-stop analysis on the pick that just went. They stay on topic. That alone puts them on the map for me, enjoyed watching them tonight.

I don't hate it. I just had a preference for a guy at the same position that was still available. Maybe some injury news comes out about AA though.

Their coverage is significantly better and no stupid commercials during a pick. They just know the picks much sooner.

Trust in McSnead oh and since it's a defense player trust in Raheem :D

Sorry couldn't resist since I'm called a Morris backer/lover even though it's all jokes from me.
