Didn't think we'd go OL this early, but very happy to have a guy who will be an immediate starter and upgrade.

Fantastic pick for the Lions. He could've easily gone first round.

Not unless we deal Allen for a pick and select someone like Joe Tippmann (also a Wisconsin lineman, just saying). I think they'll still play Allen, but Avila and Bruss will be sandwiching him.
My day dream is for Torrence to be there at pick 69. Then its Hav, Bruss, Avila, Torrence, Bloom as the starting 5. Then DEFENSE the majority of the remaining picks. I remember when Dallas invested heavy into their OL, for a 5-7 years they were set. Sadly, the rest of the team was a manic depressive on Mountain Dew.

That's one of the main reasons why I hate the Cheatriots: because a good guy like Aeneas didn't win a Super Bowl. If it was a regular loss, it would've been heartbreaking, but it's the way it goes sometimes. But they literally cheated Aeneas and the other 52+ guys out of a ring. That's what galls me.
Its been years of hating them son a bitches, but what I always question is, if we win does everything happen exactly( or damn near) like it did afterwards? Or do we win more SB’s?

Fairly sure he was one of the top guys in the nation at getting QB pressure last year. I could be wrong.

Oh yeah he def racked up pressures in College, i think it has more to do with his lack athleticism for the position and how he'd project as an impact pass rushing edge at the next level...He had a really bad RAS score...but also wtf do i know, time will tell.

Lions having the kind of draft that leads to years of contention.

It’s really frustrating tonight, my mock draft simulators are so much faster than this crap!

I'm siding with most Lions fans I'm reading. Hating their first round but loving this last pick.
We'll see. I think they're gonna look back on this one for a long time though. All those guys are going to produce big time. It's one hell of a haul and they're not done.

Cody Mauch goes to the Fuckaneers. They made a great pick with him.

It's more of a what could they have taken instead game. I'm not saying they aren't good players. But an RB and ILB that high? When you could have taken Jalen Carter and one of Banks, Murphy, Smith or Uzomah and turned your defense around? I get it those two they took are good Lions fans just think it could have been so much better, like we do with a lot of picks.
