I remember seeing Rocky II when it first came out. Our Little League coach took the whole team. I grew up in a town that was about 99% Italian (Uncle Leo in the Sopranos lived there).

Anyways we get to the theatre and the line is around the block. Once we got in there there were no seats left and people were sitting anywhere they could on the floor. No fire hazard rules back then. Lol

As you know the first half of the movie was pretty subdued and then Adrian comes out of her coma. Needless to say when she said “There’s one thing I want you to do for me….Win! Win!”

The place went totally apeshit!! Never saw that many Italians go crazy outside of seeing the Pope. Never forget it for the rest of my life. It was awesome! Lol
