Maybe not good enough to be traded, but if Evans gets cut, someone will pick him up.

This is from RamsDynasty off another board, but I echo his sentiments.

Von Miller is like that flirtatious girlfriend, giggling with every available team. Looks like he was trying to play Rams off Broncos. Denver got tired and went with Gregory instead. Now that the Broncos are no longer an option now the Boys and Browns are in the mix??? He isn't a long time Ram so I ain't mad at him but if I were the Rams I might bring Clowney, Melvin Ingram or Chandler Jones in for a little flirting too. What's good for the goose.
Think I read this is his first FA period so he is just trying to get what he can. If Rams are in same range as his best offer I expect he will return.
Interesting couple sentences there. Von is coming back my dude. He's just smart and trying to get more money out of us. At this point in his career, playing next to AD on a perennial contender and trying to win consecutive Super Bowls in LA has to be more important than playing in your 'home' state for a disfunctional franchise.
Agreed. Rams offer a lot they just need to be in the ballpark. Hard to think they won't be. Von was a difference maker and looks like he has some juice left.

Von is going to hurt - leaving or staying (salary hit). Good luck Snead

To be honest, I'm getting fed up. The Rams will do well whether Von Miller is on the team or not, there are plenty of other quality DE's & Edge OLB'ers that are available at a far lower cost, leaving more money available for depth issues elsewhere. Sure, I want him if we can make it work, but he didn't win the Super Bowl alone, and we needn't break the bank over him. Stick to your guns Tony Pastoors, it will work out. jmo.

We gave up a 2 & 3 to get him..so losing him hurts much more. You dont have the picks or the player/production. We dont win the Super Bowl without Von Miller that is a fact 100%. Our pass rush took over games late in the playoffs and sealed the deal. One thing not getting talked about enough is the effect Von had on AD's leadership. Having another HOF voice and big personality beside him enabled AD to come out of his shell a little and become more vocal.

We're paying Floyd $20M this year (which is a big overpay IMO though others dont agree) so we should have no problem paying Von in the $14-18M range. The cap went up this year, the cap will go up a TON more next year with the new TV deals kicking in. We're fine cap and money wise. After we sign Von, the only position I'm concerned about is CB. Hope we grab a vet there for cheap.

Aaron Donald
Mmmmmmm GIF

Was wondering how his rehab was going. Apparently well enough that O'Connell is going to grab him to have someone who knows the offense he is implementing. A good signing for Vikings in year one of a new offensive system that will be worth more than his receiving stats will show.

Hopefully Blanton and Hopkins continue their sudden climb up the ladder from obscurity into next season.
