I'm guessing that means that Nick Scott was a wasted pick for Bones?
Or Weddle and Christian are gone and we have very little behind starters Johnson and Rapp with JJ coming up on a contract. Sorry to detract for your Scott hate but there are other things going on beyond him.

I wanted the basketball forward from Kentucky! Who is this safety? This is BS!

Very smart kid, a leader. Not sure why anyone would pick him here. Also, thought he would be a free agent, special teams player at best.
Bones said he wanted him so the Rams grabbed him first

Every year the draft is like groundhogs day.
The movie I mean.

It's as if nobody remembers how this always goes.
The team has its own ideas, picks differently than expected, the fans are critical, they learn about the players, start to see the thinking, camp comes, some players surprise, some disappoint, overall they produce, the Rams have a good season and Snead and McVay are good at their jobs.

That's always how this goes.

Jordan Fuller is your typical late-round DB. That said there is talent there he's just a bit athletically limited. What I love about him is his height at 6'2" and 4.6 speed is good but average for a safety. It makes me wonder if he is going to be transitioned to an ILB position. His height is very good for a safety, but with only average speed for the position. It will be interesting to see what they do with him or if he's simply a late-round PS candidate for a year or two which is very likely.

In regards to Nick Scott, he came in as raw as you can be in the NFL. IMO they made a mistake not transitioning him to CB. Like Burgess Scott has the traits to play both CB and safety.

Cant wait for our two OL picks in the 7th round. Our practice squad will have the best practice squad OL in the NFL.

Only way I could see him playing is with some development, and weight gain, in a hybrid, Mark Baron type role. It’s a stretch though. Below average speed as a Safety. 4.67. Good jumping/explosion numbers.

Yeah, that would be my guess. Maybe a guy you don’t see much for a year as he bulks up.

Yasir Durant could be a guy who could challege for a starter in 2 years. He can play tacle and guard both sides. Hope he falls!

Three picks coming up in the seventh round.

With 3 picks in the 7th round it will be interesting who they take. This is usually where they fill out their PS and STs.

He covered TE’s pretty well, he has good body control in the air, so, because of the leagues really good TE’s now.... Looks way better in zone/space. But just seems like if we liked him, could have got him later.

Only pick I really question so far. They must have a plan for him in sub packages. Great kid though, everybody raves about him, and he’s a couple times 1st team scholar athlete.
