Whenever I read this crap about the Rams NOW paying the price for all of their wheeling and dealing and that NOW they are in serious trouble, I think of 2 very important facts:
1) IT WORKED! They paid the price THEN to win a SB and…ready for it?…IT WORKED!

2) as McVay enters his 7th season, the Rams are entering their THIRD roster overhaul. They did it in 2017 (SB in 2018). They did it again and went back and won the SB in 2021. They are doing it again in 2023. Why would any logical person think the Rams cannot do it again?

Yeah that lightweight narrative is pervasive and annoying. We "rented" players to win a SB? (I love how her examples were Von and Suh--she couldn't put together a viable list.) Any team's free to do the same if they achieve that position and players want to come and play in one of the best cities, for the best coach, with the best culture, etc. They act like we cheated or something. A lot of other things need to be in place before a couple acquisitions win a SB.
