How do you guys think we get Todd back on track?

Become less predictable? Sign a stronger vet FA? Is Todd becoming to indecisive?

I think there are 2 things that can make Todd more successful:

1. More outside runs. How many times this year have we just whammed it straight up the gut? I can remember many stretches and I can recall a single pitch. Our interior is our weakest area, particularly Whichmann and Barnes. If we could get a nice sweep to the left behind our big, athletic boys in GRob and Saffold I'd be very happy. Also our solid WR run blocking (Britt and Quick) is negated when we run up the gut.

2. More targets. In his minimal touches catching the football in the NFL, Todd has shown good hands and obvious great skills in space. It puzzles me why we don't swing him out more, instead it seems like most games his few targets are predictable screens. As much as I love Benny and acknowledge his solid play on 3rd as a pass blocker and shifty and powerful receiver, I think Todd's ceiling as a 3rd down back is much higher. Just look at how he impacted the game today when Benny went down. His 37 yard one hander was huge (was held on that play) and his 3rd down start-stop-start sideline conversion in the RZ was huge. I'm hopefully we design and script more pass plays around Todd.

Fisher is suddenly very mouthy for a career 7-9 coach with a #1 draft pick not good enough to see the field or knowing which way the sun rises.

There is real bad blood between Fischer and the entire league. Everyone knows he is a dirty coach, and he and Greg Williams have not made any friends. He is mediocre, and mouthy...which is a bad combo...plus he tries to hurt players.

That guy is a putrid coach. Those were 2 of the worst challenge calls I've ever seen. Their offensive play calling is as unimaginative as any in the last 10 years. The only reason that team is competitive is their dirty scumbag D-Coordinator who should still be banned from the league.

Feels damn good. We are scratching and clawing our way to wins. Defense is still inconsistent, but they are feasting on negative plays. Donald had an amazing game today. Keenum delivered when asked. We gotta find a way to get Gurley going.

I also felt that Austin had a really good day. He gave Peterson problems. But he just barely missed pulling in that deep ball and Keenum missed him a few times with inaccurate passes.

I'm glad we're winning, but I'm still of the opinion that I want to see Goff against Buffalo. Hopefully, Fisher deems he's ready. But I'd be shocked if that happens.

Still, I feel like it's the perfect time for Goff. The OL and WRs/TEs are coming into their own.

I can't stand looking at Bruce Arians but then I think of seeing Pete carroll on the sideline..

Im having a tough time deciding who is more annoying to look at when your playing against them.

I was pretty worried for Flipper's record. Carolina couldn't do anything to stop him. Thankfully the Panthers threw a pick 6, and Atlanta's O didnt get back on the field until there was no time left.

Hey all! Just wanting to give some background on myself. I've been lurking on here for about a year now but have never posted.

So I'm from the STL area. The first game I can remember watching is the '99 SuperBowl with my dad. Over the years it kind of became our thing. When he was home from being over the road, we would always watch the Rams game. Now that he is gone, I carry the torch of loyalty to our team lol. Due to the stadium contract issues and the way the city of St. Louis treated the Rams in negotiations, I can't blame the Rams for leaving. My only regret is never going to a live game.

Anyways, here's to hoping for a W today. Here's to watching another masterful game of Greg Williams play calling. Here's to getting TFG rolling early and play action over the top. Here's to no more 7-9 bullshit.

As if we didn't need any other reminders on how great coaches get 'er done the latest example is what Chris Petersen is doing in Washington. Dude has them rolling to a 5-0 record thus far with a signature win over a very good Stanford team.

I am a Trojans fan unfortunately, and when they hired that dude I was pi$$ed because I knew he'd get them going. But I didn't expect them to start a trajectory like we're seeing right now. Big news in the Pac12 for sure now.

Okay, last Saturday my favorite college team, UNC, scored 37 points to beat Pitt 37 - 36. Sunday the Rams held on to beat Tampa Bay 37 - 35. Last night my high school won their game 37 - 3. Today, UNC kicked a field goal on the last play of the game to beat FSU 37 - 35. Can the Rams continue the trend tomorrow?

What Receivers with #1 potential you think might be available in 2nd.... I know it's early

I'm planning a grand smorgasbord for here tomorrow. Please keep in mind, that me and the Mrs. tend to cook a lot on weekends so we don't have to cook during the week. But since we're playing the Dead Birds, some kind of bird is in order.

1. Not sure if I'm going to bbq or go in the crock pot, but I have thighs and legs going with a very tasty bbq sauce. I'll use Sweet Bay Rays as a base and expand on it.

2. Hungarian Hot Wax Peppers. Stuff them with cream cheese, red onions, and not sure if I'm going to use mozzarella or colby jack cheese to compliment the cream cheese. Wrap them in slab bacon for sure. I have recently fell in love with Jay's Red and/or Peach Ghost Scorpion peppers. A great flavor, besides the heat. I'm going to chop up one or two and add to my cheese mixture. These should be some damn hot poppers.

3. Made some salsa this past Wednesday with Jay's Red Ghost/Scorpions in it. The jars have had time to marinate, so looking forward to some Salsa and chips tomorrow. I have cheese to go with it if needed.

4. Making a big batch of Pasta salad. Nothing special, but it's a good lunch for work too. Rotini pasta, 3 red onions chopped, a bag of frozen peas, and mixed with real mayonnaise. Funny how the simple stuff can taste very good. I should also note I put much garlic powder in it.

Mrs. is also doing pork chops and gravy tonight.. I'll be making another batch of gravy to put on my last tomatoes out of the garden. I use Kentucky Kernel batter flour to make the gravy. Hodgson Mill makes it and it's some damn good stuff. I'll be eating gravy over tomatoes for breakfast. If you haven't tried this it's damn good. Healthier and more flavor than biscuits and gravy.

Alright folks, there's my menu. Give me some ideas for future games now?
