Yeah I just read that he wanted to go to a contender. And this makes sense because Dallas Goedert is hurt

33 years old. Out of 44 games with the Cardinals he missed 16. Hasn't been much of a factor for them. His last two seasons with the Eagles he missed 15 games. Not sure how much he can help unless a team needs more depth.

Why was a player with that many years in the league put on waivers? I thought after a certain time in the league a player was a free agent if released.
