You're being sent to a desert island... for some reason. It's the off-season. Roll with it.
Anyway, you're being allowed to bring a portable DVD player and DVDs of any 5 Rams games throughout history you want. Which games do you pick?
My picks:
- Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints, November 26th, 1989. The Rams come back from a 14 point deficit to beat the Saints in OT on the strength of Flipper Anderson's 336 receiving yards (still an NFL single game receiving record)
- San Francisco 49ers vs. St. Louis Rams, October 10th, 1999. The Rams go up 21-0, causing Isaac Bruce to cry in joy. They finish the rout 42-20, snapping the 49ers' 17 game "win" streak vs. the Rams. (Stupid 90's refs...)
- St. Louis Rams vs. Tennessee Titans, January 30th, 2000. Super Bowl 34. Nuff said.
- Green Bay Packers vs. St. Louis Rams, January 20th, 2002. Possibly the GSOT's last really dominating win, crushing the Packers 45-20.
- St. Louis Rams vs. Indianapolis Colts, November 10th, 2013. Tavon Austin introduces himself to the NFL.
Honorable Mention:
- Minnesota Vikings vs. St. Louis Rams, January 16th, 2000. Vikings lead at half 17-14. Rams score 35 points in second and hang on for the win. Rams: We still haven't beaten anybody! Randy Moss: I'ma squirt the referee!
- St. Louis Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks, January 8th, 2005. Despite losing the division to the Seahawks, we beat them to complete a rare 3-0 season sweep of them. Seahawk tears were very very delicious.
What are yours?
