Looks like a solid player. No idea why we went WR. I would have preferred OL. Perhaps they do not anticipate both Woods and Kupp being around much longer, and this is the replacement for whoever leaves.

Best route runner in the class IMO. He’s a better Mohammed Sanu. Perfect fit for this offense. I can see us running a lot more 4 wide. Let’s get an edge and a center and call it a day.
Denzel Wims was a burner, 4.3 speed. Should they have gone there instead, we have 2 great possession receivers already.
Meh. Not mad that we drafted Cam and Van, just think i would've gone defense with one of those. Van feels like a reach though. Not a lot of big play production...considering we lost our big play WR in Cooks.

I don't like it. Decent player, but I seen his NFL player comparison, is Josh Reynolds. We already HAVE Josh Reynolds. This was not a pick of need. I like taking starters in the 2nd round. We have MAJOR needs at LB and Oline.
This kid is a tactician. Love the pick.
Because there's only 2 good ones in the roster and lost Brandin Cooks.
They didn't lose anyone or even touch the OL.
Like the player but not the pick. We have other needs. Why spend a 2nd rounder on a player who will be the 6th pass catching option to start the season.
Sorry, but he’s nothing like Josh Reynolds. They will play completely different roles. It was a bad comparison.
So let’s concede Snead and McVay know what they are doing but there is no f-ing way this guy would not have been available with the R3.104. Pick him at R3.84 if you can’t help yourself but no way IMO should they have used the R2.57 pick. I hope I eat my words but I doubt it. DAMN!!!

I was disappointed because I thought we could have traded down for Van, but don't get it twisted, Van will produce for us. Those who doubt him, watch his video against LSU. It's on Youtube. Derek Stingley Jr. is a top 3 CB in CFB. He'll be a top 5-10 pick in a couple years. Van absolutely schooled him.
The fact that McVay and Snead picked a RB and WR just goes to show you how much confidence they have in the O-line. Watch though, they will pick up some developmental depth for the line in the third round.
He'll produce less than Kupp does, and to me, this is Kupp's replacement. And Mims was right on the board. We passed on him twice. And Mims would've filled Cooks' role.
