This would be the perfect scenario to play 12 personnel. Jefferson, Nacua outside, Higbee and Allen at TEs. They can run or pass with 5 potential receivers. It would help protect the new OL until they have had time to gel as a unit. I'd be surprised if we didn't see 12 personnel as their base set in Seattle. With Higbee and Allen they have two good receiving TEs. The run benefit is obvious as they can pull Allen as a lead block between the tackles as well.

If the Rams get the run game moving it will be a long day for the Seattle D.

Then we run it, a few passes and chew the hell out of the clock....
But... I'm not sure taking Seattle out of their run game, is the best option.... :woozy:

We know Puka will be getting separation, thats just what he does. The question is did Van take a big step? Can he consistently win on the outside when we need him to? Reports of him and Staff this off season seem encouraging. Did Tutu take a big leap? God if he exploded this year that would change the entire offense.

More 12 would be sweet, but McVay won't stray too far from who he is. We still have solid weapons outside. I think we go more 12 if we cant get push in the running game, who knows how that goes this year.

Run a lot, then pop one off to Atwell on a fly. Is anyone faster then him on the field? Unlikely. Safeties will be playing up to cover the run. Perfect set up.

I'm a little skeptical Puka will see significant snaps in his first game as a pro. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of Robinson than Puka. We know Jefferson will be the WR1 with Kupp out. WR2 is the question mark.

I think Tutu stays at WR3. Not sure about Skow. I don't see him as a typical wideout running routes and beating defenders. He's more of the 3rd guy or lead blocker. WR2 to me comes down to Puka or Robinson. We know McVay's penchant for relying on experienced vets more than rookies.

McVay may choose to go with Hopkins as the number 3 guy. We're going into a hostile stadium. Need guys who can go silent. Also McVay may choose to deploy Williams as well in a receiver role.

Tutu will most likely be the wr #2 til Kupp comes back. I would temper expectations for Puka for now but I’m hoping he balls out once he gets more comfortable.

Allen Robinson? :)

I mean
.... isn't that why they paid so much for him to begin with?

At least our wide receivers have had a few weeks of practice to move to their 1 2 3 spots, etc.

Way more practices than a week's worth of practices because of a game injury.

You haven't heard much about Allen Robinson because he's not on the team anymore. Demarcus Robinson is who is on the team. Demarcus was drafted by the Chiefs in 2016 as a 4th round pick. He has never realized his rookie potential. He's put up average WR3 type numbers which isn't bad but at 28 in his 7th year he is what he is. A decent backup/rotational WR. He only lasted a year in Baltimore and was released early by the Raiders.

Robinson has started games but the fact that pass heavy offenses like KC and Baltimore have moved on from him is telling. I see him as simply one year depth.
